That's me out!
Took out what i had remaining - not alot.
I can't see how rumours of government backing would result in 10% drop or article link from one week ago on the BBC. I see it as investors taking their 10% profit now before news.

Yes, i agree - if you are less financially impacted by this share then your views wouldn't be as strong. i have more than one in my portfolio but i have gone with high risk shares, i can afford to be wiped out although it would hurt another share might fill my void.
I do believe it is gambling just not in the same way as someone being irrational and thinking they can beat the casino - however, i'm disappointed with BOD and how this has been handled - first point (and i will say it again) that terrible RNS stating they will come back to the market not needed in my opinion! caused a lot of good people to walk way before finding on the outcome.
Don't know about this post - if someone decides to put say £1-5k in this share rather than on red or black they'd be way more logical with potential returns, divs - they are possibly doing this over the long term and not for immediate gain (loss)
If we sell the bonds expect a big song and dance from the company - didn't sky news get wind of the stg2 funding the night before. Marketing / PR will be surely already geared up to go big on this as will JP Morgan.
No news is bad news in my eyes.
They have no reasons to delay the news unless it's negative.
Thanks Myosotis - 500mil worth i hope ;)
When you look at the month view the sentiment must be driving the SP up, but why... If we're all waiting for news and the deadline is 30th then why are we not seeing slow decline in the SP. Hmmmmmmm
KOH is correct, no clue lottery. Its fact until otherwise, I still belive but let's not all follow my lead. Time to shut up and wait for news, all this talk of big buys..SP never moves!? so called friends spitting out rns to keep us updated... Hmmm none existent.... Good news about Rice, good news about bond market...irrelevant. Bring on the update and put us out of our misery
Big buys after hours is becoming the trend these days. Such a lottery, yet its comical to read posts on here. I truly believe I will be the last to know the truth but I'm hoping holding my shares was correct. I have waited since 6th August, it's been over one month now since the outrageous announcement, I'm glad to be correct about that - not required and nothing but shock waves of doubt to nervous investors. Not long to wait now, eve there own timeline is ticking...

Most corporate bonds issued by private and public corporations are traded OTC rather than on exchanges. Furthermore, many of the transactions involving exchange-traded bonds are done through OTC markets. Corporate bonds are issued by firms to raise capital to fund various expenditures.
What alternative arrangements? typical response of a poster who thinks nothing but great things about the company and it's methods.
The reasons they pulled the bonds might have been due to current climate etc. but we are now about to head back to the market on the same timeline with much improved conditions - last three weeks (or whatever it is now) could have been avoided by saying nothing! or... saying something now IF it had not of improved. instead...they gave us a small RNS which makes investors think oh they could not get them bonds away - you know it and so do i, check the SP over the past three weeks! and notifications of major holdings.
Why did they say anything at all...? Why didn't they wait until they got nearer September to determine the best course of action, at the end of the day they built this up " we're going out to market with roadshows" and then " we've pulled it" then silence while all LTH with nerves jumped and allowed others to get in.
typical stunt in my eyes to shake off anyone scared, probably those people that are genuine hardworking people who dont sit on their arses all day.
and still... silence and uncertainty where shorters thrive
crikeys....is your name
Tell it walking son?
I share bbc news and get that...
Thanks MATE
China is set to impose a tariff of up to 10% on $75bn of goods imported from the US as the trade battle between the two superpowers escalates.
Agricultural goods, crude oil and small aircraft are among the products being targeted.
agree, i'm shocked to see some people putting in what i have as a total max.
HOLD all the waaay
sxx always below expectations! still no news on those bonds.
Wow look where we are now. Talking how we were two days ago.
Well, no top ups incase that dilution comes eh.
I'd take my money back now if I could, sick of this share.
