..And Fish says a new clinical trial is set to start in weeks in the U.S. that will look at the effectiveness of IFN-B against the coronavirus. “If the results look very promising that certain individuals are doing very well, then they’ll do what’s called unblinding,” says Fish. Unblinding means that the people involved in the trial who have not received the drug will have access to it.
“We should be stockpiling this drug,” she says.
I read the Dr Fish article the other day and it was very promising. To mention Synairgen, then a phase 3 trial, possibly unblinded, has to be Synairgen. It couldn't more obvious! Has anyone emailed Dr Fish yet just to get her to confirm 100% that the trial starting in 2 weeks is SNG001?
I'm currently 300% up and wondering what the next RNS holds. Will we get fast tracked and carried above the crowds to the finish line as fast as possible? Or will the naysayers from the last link be proved right and the RNS's reflect this, thus not providing the outcome us holders so dearly want?

Both larger trials than 'ours' but neither come close in terms of efficacy (only read the initial summaries).
However, these swines have pretty much all got hung up on the small scale of 'our' trial and also a couple have suggested it has been tweaked to look better. One even suggested that using 101 patients rather than the 400 we aimed for is like stopping a race part way through because your horse is winning and declaring it the winner. Sour grapes!
Some good points made, however. (big read) https://www.sciencemediacentre.org/expert-reaction-to-announcement-by-synairgen-that-their-drug-sng001-has-had-positive-results-in-initial-trials-on-covid-19-patients/
Market impatience will likely see the SP drift slowly a wee bit but that IMO just allows for top ups so not a bad thing. At least CK has confirmed more than once (email and Investor webinar to name a couple) what the plan is for Omega, so that gives me confidence here. GLA

Short interview with American news broadcaster Newsmax. He crams as much in to the interview as he can and gets on to SNG after half way. Positive but honest and realistic also.
On the subject of news - if you google "SNG001" and select 'news', you will see all the recent news posts found. You can use tools to filter to the last 24 hours, for example, and you will see that news is being reported online globally. It's fantastic to see!
@NewbieRookie I think this is a report of Bradford Hospitals experience of being involved in the PhII trial. Not another SNG001 trial.
Great find and a great post to read. Very positive. Actually had me smiling away reading that. Not from a perspective of personal gain, but to be able to read of genuine results for genuine people. Reading how Synairgen have been able to help somebody get over this awful virus is fantastic. Let the positive news continue.
I listened to the Fox News radio interview this morning. Richard, towards the end of the interview, was explaining how interferon beta was not only in use in the Covid trial but had already been trialed previously with asthma patients and also the COPD trail (which he stated was due next month once again).
Connecting the dots (or stating the obvious?) but I feel the COPD trial results could provide further evidence to support the use of SNG001 in covid patients.
A positive COPD trial will certainly give Synairgen even more credibility and support them tremendously in their endeavors to bring SNG001 to market before winter.
