Justincase no one read this bit properly Kevin Alexander is standing down, I didn't read it properly I assumed there was just Kevin who had been doing the shareholder meets as well. So it's not THE Kevin stepping down (as far as I'm aware?)
So I read all the comments an thought my god is the rns bad. . .
Thrn fast forward now read the rns, an tes we uavent made money an yes we are at a loss BUT it restates the milestone payments in the MILLION, the loi still in place, mentions about the lab and val being profitable, in contact with Spain, us and Japan. . . Val is GLOBAL
I Don know if there would be another rns in the morning, maybe maybe not. Yes the mms might take this down, u never know with the fact it states again about the multi million milestone payments an lab they may surprise u an take it up. Only they know their game.
For me reading the rns it all still sounds positive and reconfirming where we are an what we're doing, trying to achieve. I am intrigued by Kevin's departure. . .
What will be will be an I guess on open it maybe a harsh drop but jesus our map is only 16mill Z it is with potential 67+ million that could come in per indicator on commercialisation. . .I mean it's it's good risk reward isn't it?
Ob- I'm so sorry you lost your parents so young, that must have been really hard :o(.
It's lovely you've got your memories but it's not the same. Your grandad was in ww1 that's brilliant (if that make sense, not the ww1). Think the older generation were a lot tougher an sometimes quite often didn't know how to show their feels, conditioned that way I think.
I know what u mean though, my nan wasn't mean but was hard if that makes sense, not towards the end but dementia got her unfortunately,. My grandad was in ww2 but a stoker on hms implacable, he was in the war an then, he's ship returned pows to oz at the end of the war , he was brilliant and cracked wicked jokes, I see him in my dad a lot which is nice. My mums my died when I was 6 or 7 and never met her dad as died b4 I was born.
That's beautiful re your house, honestly that's amazing. I bet it has loads of character too. I bet your son looks after those medals well.
I don't know if you know but there's an artillery/war memorial page for ww1 and ww2 that u can upload photos, pictures of the medals, service record etc too that helps them to commemorate all our war hero's alive an deceased. I'll try and find the link for u if u haven't done it already ? X
Going to Cyprus we like it there. Nr Nissi beach this time (not been b4).
Funny you say about your mum, was mine too that set the price . . . Sure it paid for her squash an badminton trips lol.
Yes schemes were quite good, well for cheap as chips labour n training;0) my x was on yts too for 2 yrs
I bet u do, re your parents- I must admit I am thankful everyday that I'm lucky enough to still have mine.
Have they been gone long? I know it's not the same but I believe my grandparents are stars an that comforts me as I see them everyday. I hope u have ur comforts too xx
Ob- you've got a good memory, 6 months feels like a longtime though lol, besides I'm making up for the last 2 yrs :o). I love my holidays only a week this time but its so much more relaxing on an all inclusive with kids abroad (we'll for me anyway lol).
I left school think I was 1996/7, first job was for a removal firm as admin/window cleaner/toilet cleaner general dogs body for a whooping 420 a month, an my parents took 60 quid a month for rent, travel was 120 pm an I thought I was loaded haha
Evening all,
Webbo that sounds lovely, I need some sunshine not long till my holiday thank goodness:o) granted won't be relaxing with the littleuns but fun all the same lol
I see Cb is still being a pain. Got to say CB for someone to spend their time correcting others spellings and /or grammar says more about you than the person writing it. Not a pleasant trait to have in my opinion. Besides who needs spelling and grammar when word spell checks everything for you, oh an mobile auto correct likes to throw a few curve balls too :o).
Got to say leaving school at 15 an being dyslexic hasn't stopped me from acquiring my own property, working an being (touch wood) financially stable. It's drive, personality, can do, will not give up, manners that maketh the man/woman imo
Lostsoul2- u are aware that because our map has reduced significantly we have been moved from the msci mid cap to small/micro cap. . . (I believe)
Therefore your technically right we've been dumped BUT not in the way you appear to be trying to portray it. We are moving from 1 index to another. When the index rebalanced (the funds have to sell their shares, buy percentage which ever BUT on moving to the micro cap the same is true. Funds have a percentage that I believe they have to buy)
If I've counted right following the 36 mill trade total trades printed so far are about 48 mill
So remaining short closing? Or how much had to go from the msci mid cap? How much to be bought in the small cap?
Could that 36 mill be a buy from the other day when thry ran us down to I think 7ish? Around 23rd May. . . Or can thry not hold onto them that long . . Unless they hadn't finished filling the order?
Granted could work the same the other way round I guess ? Anyone
Loving the increase not long to get bqck to double digits hopefully.
I'm wondering as know nothing about shorting -
So as the price increases they have an amount they have to have in their acct to cover their short position if price pushes them over that price the short gets closed?
Or do they set a limit increase that the price can go to, to sell out of their short position?
Same as us buying or/stop-loss if u use them?
Thanks in advance
So I uqve l2 and been watching for a fair few days and there are some transactions (large ones 250k plus shares) going through as sells for example today at 7.50 an 7.51
The price today for a sell hasn't been that low. Yesterday though the price was pulled down to 7 and you could buy at 7.50 then 8t bounced back up.
Imo and I could be completely wrong quite a few of these transactions going through today looking like large sells are roll overs from the day before. Imo to stop the price increasing. Just a thought
Please note only way to check if they are really buys or sells is to do the dummy trades so I have done this and maybe just maybe my trading platform isn't giving the right prices but hl normally does.
So why wouldn't the mms want the price to increase? Surely it doesn't make any difference to them as they make their money on the spread?
Thoth2 - noticed u didn't reply to myself or rhubarb though . . . . Odd
Why have u popped along though? Little strange all of a sudden to pop up?
Intrigued as to why and whether you have anything of substance to actually say?
OB - you just made laugh out loud, brilliant :o)
Possibly old wives tale but didn't it used to be wrap up to help sweat it out?
Ibuprofen helps with a fever /temperature though, also tomato soup or heinz chicken soup when your ill isn't it ? X
