The bank loan doesn't need to be repaid in June, they just need to start repaying capital.

Why didn't they mention funding, I think the current cash flow is ok - just ?!

No need to drill in the short term, time to get asset sales and/or insurance claim sorted. Time also to increase revenue in other areas.

It's not hugely positive which is why the share price is sub 20p. Risk and reward though - I definitely wouldn't want to be short on VOG at the moment.

Keep selling if you think i'm wrong - i'll continue to add at these levels..

Why didn’t they mention that they’re struggling for cash, it would have been easy to dress it up in a different way at this point. I suspect that they have enough day to day income to pay their bills now, they need more customers but they’re making progress on that front too. They’ll need to spend more money but it’s not immediate and they’re weighing up options on how best to do this ??!

Still risk and reward positive for me so I will add not sell at these levels. I expect it to drift higher now on the basis that they’ve got enough capital and cash flow to see some of the extra usage come on to the balance sheet.

Time will tell.

Is it just sour grapes, in that although VOG hasn't done great since - at least you wouldn't be sat on a 50% + loss ??

I invested on 24th December for the first time - ever. I made 30% in an hour and I bailed out. I bought back at 23 and sold half at 21. I only have my winnings invested here so even if they go bust I will still break even. I will add to my holdings on news and not before.

Choose your battles buddy, I still get things wrong but not with money that I cant afford to lose.

Big bets are elsewhere, I don't need quadruple baggers to pay my bills.

Jed, Your commercial opinion is worthless, and you don't have enough money to make a difference to the share price.

Do yourself and this bb a favour and move on, focus on your bad choices elsewhere.

Jed, i've only ever invested in VOG after the 24th December. I don't rate the BOD I think far too much of other peoples money has been wasted and mismanaged. I can't say what I really think as it would be removed - it has been on several occasions before. Suffice to say I don't really give a Flying .... about the company I just see this as a way of making a few more quid over the next 12-18 months.

Although it's cost too much to get to this point most of the big risks are behind them, once there is more clarity on numbers (bank or dilution or not) then this will rise.

DEB's is finished as far as shareholders are concerned, We all mess up on shares, I lost £170k in 2002 after calling the bottom of the Dot Com bubble too early. I waited 2 years from the peak and was buying stocks that had already lost most of their value - you live and learn..

Let's leave it there, I won't gloat when you lose most if not all of your stake on DEB but feel free mock me if i'm wrong on VOG.

Certainly a positive sign that VOG hasn't been put in to the might end up like Flybe category this morning.

Looks like Sage was the only regular contributor to be caught up in this - sad for all concerned some have lost a fortune.

News on financials - nothing else will really help at the moment - they know that.

I think you’re right about VOG, I’ve been saying the same for months but then you know that - I believe you’re wrong about Debenhams.

I was going to post on the DEBS board but as I don't hold and wouldn't touch this with a barge pole I thought it was inappropriate. You've been telling us that DEB is going up and VOG will be 15p soon. I suggested you were wrong and that DEB would be in the 4's after today. I still think i'll be proved right, if you understand balance sheets, banking covenants and exactly where they really are you'll accept defeat and get out with a low 5.

It's a failed business model that needs to go in to administration to get the leases changed and the debt written off. Shareholders will not be the winners here.

It’s a shame and I don’t take pleasure in others misery but I doubt Clampit will be too derogatory about VOG today.

Selling VOG to buy DEBS was always going to be a risky couple of trades.

Not convinced, from 57 down to 16 there were no opportunities to buy some shares to average down and to show commitment to the cause ?!

When it was going wrong they could have reduced their overly optimistic salaries and backed the company by buying some more shares.

It’s too one sided by far which is why the markets have no trust in them as it stands.

It's easy to provide a cash flow forecast based on what they know. The accounts are obviously always historical but guidance is given on the up to date picture which is what the markets work off of.

My concern is that they are struggling to renegotiate the banking facilities on acceptable terms, and/or they need to raise additional funds for the next spend.

IMO that's why they are quiet, and that's why none of the directors have purchased any shares - even at 16p

I think if you and Paranoia keep telling this board that the share price is way undervalued and needs to rise/will rise then I think that should work.
Nothing else required as far as I can see - except the constant whining of people who feel hard done by because they bet too much too soon.

Until there's more transparency on the financials this isn't going anywhere.

I emailed VOG yesterday and chased them today but they haven't even had the decency to acknowledge receipt let alone reply.

I was going to keep adding but I'm not going to bother until they man up and come clean about current and projected cash flow now that they've taken on even more work.

You could have sold at over 6 and bought back more than 10% cheaper already today. 10% in a day is ok - No ??!

You predict 15p for VOG and also the same for DEB. I think you're wrong. DEB will be 5p to sell today and 4p after their likely dire Christmas update.

VOG will have a 4 in front of the price and not as the total price at some stage this year IMO.

BOD should have bought to instill some confidence, why haven't they - what do they know that we don't - agree !
Until there is a bit more transparency on the banking or a possible placing they will probably drift lower - agree.

They haven't done as badly as Debenhams today though - did you take my advice and sell DEB to buy VOG and also short the FTSE ?

if you want constructive dialogue then don't post things that you have no knowledge of, it winds people up.

They may need to raise more money but they may wait until the share price goes up before they do - who knows ?

The share price has dropped by more than 2/3rds in 2 years. It's dropped by almost 50% since there was a chance that ENEO would come back on line a few moths ago. Of course it's not a one way bet it's VOG, but I believe for the first time in a long time that the current share price represents very good value Risk v Reward. I don't mind if it goes up or down from here as unlike some I'm no where near as fully invested as I intend to be.

GL if you wait for 15p. Not that you need my advice as you're an experienced investor but sell your Debenhams shares and buy VOG. Buy Banks too on weakness leading up to Brexit. Short the FTSE if you want to hedge. Large investments in safer stuff that pays big dividends and that has been way oversold. IMO DYOR etc.
