yes it is difficult to understand - everything seems to support a well founded company with good prospects - well we will just have to hunker down and wait at least here there is not the embarrassing drivel and some of it very foul as over on 88e

sorry if I am asking a well worn question but been away for 3 weeks and prior to that been concentrating on other shares. My question concerns Woodford - is his fund still in and does anyone know if they have made any comment?

whilst waiting for the family to wake up thought i would do a bit of catch -up on events. Proactive Investors have two interesting articles and an interview with Ajay Paluvar - the latter is good and I personally like the sound of him - quietly confident. As well as a general overview he also discusses the recent floods. Shore Capital are giving a strong recommendation as also Couter Fitzgerald - target price of 134p. Still looks a sound investment imo

Ctw If you were brave enough to get more at around 73 well done! pay back already.

Not sure exactly where the generating plants are but if the flood areas then looking at some of the videos of the flooding I think the floods may well have had an effect on the price . A resident was saying that they had been without electricity for three days so that means the distribution system has been effected. Now I am not sure how much OPG are involved in the distribution system but it would probably effect the capacity for taking any electric generation. Also has the coal storage been effected with a knock-on of feeding the plant e.g the yards could be flooding. It could even have effected the employees with many of them not able to get to work. Will try to do some more research on the effect to OPG

js - thanks for the response - my provider i.e.Motley fool do not deal with asx so I have to find another platform - however Beaufort who VMOTO are recommending are expensive so will have to try others.

I have to admit that this is new territory for me - can anyone advise if this will effect my holding in an share dealing ISA and if there is a simply explanatory comment anywhere that will explain what the likely effects are.

sorros thanks for the reply - after I sent it I wondered why i did send it and expected a response such as - can't you read! I think I was so frustrated that yet another of my shares has sunk into the mire. However I still feel that that this must be a good business unless there are other big competitors around. am I reading the RNS correctly in that VMOTO are to continue with two wheel electric vehicles i.e. scooters as well as 3-4 wheel vehicles. The Nanjing Haiyang business was just the electric control system. Can anyone help please?

Why do you think it will not be a long wait - the RNS just says in due course. Am I missing some other news. threeputt - it is not only Chinese shares that should be avoided - that bit of advice could be applied to most of my British shares.I am well down on all my shares and cannot see any signs of recovery - probably should sell all and retire to a remote place without computers, phones etc.!

probably needs it's batteries charging up! Seriously though I think it is just the miserable state of the world's markets with China having a big but perhaps unjustified effect The big decision here is whether to average down while the price is low.

pt-78 I had sold at 106 at a small profit to make up for some of my losses and bought back last week at 100 thinking that would be the base but how wrong was I . I cannot understand how a company that is clearly producing good news and must have a strong future given the massive population and the associated demand for energy can have its share price drop by so much. Is it being manipulated again for some big investors buys I wonder. However I am going to remain in this long term and might average down now.

Shirley23 - good to here that you are still in - did you manage to get in before the July rise ? It seems to have levelled off now so I'm still going to wait - busy on other shares and life generally so have not had much time to do further research. I still cannot believe that a site can be as quiet as this after the others that I follow.

Thelix - thanks for a decent post unlike most on here - I am also going to filter some especially sid as he seems to state the obvious and not just on this share which means that the board is clogged up with useless comments.

Well this board is certainly busy !! - Are you still with it or has it been too lonely. I have had my attention drawn to this by a write -up in the master investor by john Rossier who has bought a small(?) amount . Looks interesting but not going to dive -in yet will wait and see for a couple of weeks as the price may go down although there was a large buy today. As you say some impressive investors.
