I wonder if Avacta is much closer to bringing a partner onboard than we realise. ie in weeks?

I agree with several others on this chat and X. Many thanks for the good reports from those of you that were able to attend yesterday and were able to post. I was too slow off the mark to make it down, but would have loved to have been there. I'm seeing some excellent summaries posted here, which confirms to me that I'll be holding until AVACTA is bought out. As usual the FUD miesters, spouting garbage, are howling into the headwinds hoping to hoover up shares from nervous or short term thinking holders. For those of us LTHs, a decent rise in the SP is long overdue, given the data. I'm looking forward to viewing the recording of Science Day when it comes. Well done to Team Avacta and thanks to the 'Reporters'.

Avacta playing a long game, developing / extending IP. Clearly thinking many moves ahead of the market, who on AIM are thick as mince. It would be good to see the SP off of double digits very shortly - that would keep family members on board in my household. LTH here, good luck all.

I'd agree. Just finished listening to Spotlight 11. Francis, Tom and Christina did a good job explaining the chemistry and particularly the route for IP filing which secures the future of this chemistry for AVACTA for decades....They did it in a manner that allowed those of us with a little basic chemistry to understand the thinking and the procedures (testing a hypothesis) that we might be used to in our Science classes. Well done.

I wonder if its more about uncertainty of direction in the US following Trump and his rich cronies activities in the first 3 months since inaugaration.

I hope that the patients who are trialling our (Avacta’s) revolutionary cancer treatments are getting / feeling the benefits of the prodrugs and platform. Let all the specialists Avacta has at its disposal get on with this extremely worthwhile work. In due course, the value in both human and monetary terms (to the cancer sufferers, the company and its investors) will follow the science.

So much drivel on this board. If you've invested for the long haul - the TO or a SP you want to exit then its just a sit and wait job now, in my opinion. Not unhappy that AS has taken his cue and left the pool table. I think CC whether interim or continuing CEO is a smart cookie and deserves a chance to sort this out. I'd like to shout out those posters who bring their wealth of experience in terms of explaining the science or helping me better understand how the market (AIM) works or otherwise. Perversely, I also enjoy some of counter arguements - Pom Poms vs Sealions. Keep the commentary coming. GLA LTH.

What an excellent presentation - can't wait to watch the meeting later this morning. Having just had a read of the presentation deck ahead of today's trial report. It is absolutely amazing!! The whole team at AVACTA deserve a huge standing ovation. A clear slide presentation, with great graphics and annotations, to simplify the complex chemistry that sits behind the AVA6000 prodrug and explain to a layperson how the prodrug works, how its safe and improves tolerability to very ill patients and able to evidence cancer tumour shrinkage. I'm not the slightest bit worried about the share price, it will rise when positive outcome stories from patients start to hit the mainstream media. Roll on AVACTA!!

The real Avacta experts are found in the hospitals, labs, its management team and BoD, working away diligently, but bound by the rules and playbook of scientific research whilst also constrained by the rules of the market. There are others on these BB's who bring relevant expertise and knowledge and willingly share it. The last group offer their opinions. I'll listen to all three groups, but I'll ultimately decide where my investment stays and for how long, principally on the basis my conclusions drawn from the first two groups. DYOR

Bella - Spot on. To say Avacta's prodrug seems to be a game-changer must be the biggest understatement going. My heart goes out to those who will slip away without getting the chances this revolutionary treatment seem to offer.

Given the recent good news regarding AV6K and strengthening of BOD, it would be nice to see the share price start to move upward from here. Hope that conversations in the past Cancer conference(s) between our team and other interested Pharma's will stir interest more widely in Avacta. Now 'joe public' needs to become more aware of this awesome company and the impact it will make for lots of cancer sufferers.
