...sorry, forgot to add that porting to the Chinese miners may not have been mentioned previously due to the difficulty due to the 'lack of available documentation etc'.....now seems to have been largely overcome....with finalisation awaited.....
βThe Company, therefore, is focusing its main efforts on speeding up the porting process of both Method A and B in order to reach commerciality.β
Porting to the US miners is in progress and appears desirable by them. Reduced capex/effective hash rate or reduced energy costs.
Porting to Chinese miners was not mentioned as it looks like it was in progress......this has now been achieved, with a bit more to go. Opens up extra 75% of the mining market.
Once both porting projects are completed, then we have a commercial product.......Can't wait.....!
Actually Drutor, I think testing and discussions could involve a very limited number of people at each prospect and within QBT, so keeping a lid on it might not be that surprising. Even the miners would not want their competitors to know they were close to a deal.
You will find that the 50 posts were from a very few posters, some with a ridiculous amount of posts (even if they have some sense in them)........so missing out on them them doesn't affect the balance from other sensible posters, pro-and con view-points, of whom there are many.....but they do not feel the need to post incessantly........
So, as a relatively new contributor to the board, stop being so unnecessarily passive-aggressive suggesting what I should do, when you know not the facts, history, or reasoning........
:-)
It's because the algorithms compare the deal price to the mid-point between bid and offer to determine whether a buy or a sell.....transactions are not individually flagged as a buy or a sell to the trade reporting systems of LSE et al.
