I have no idea why this share is staying so low. I used to hold alot of Bg but sold them to buy in bp but I still follow her closly. Hope you guys in this can hold for the long term, should be 1200 if not higher my 2011. Good luck.
should be up at £6, its just because its fallen out of favour with the city that its so low. no debt, good profit, great long term hold.
Golden Cross time this week!! Good 10-20% rise coming up over the next 2-3 weeks. Director bought in on Friday, Im a long tearm holder so would love to see them go a bit cheaper first but I think this will be a very good week, Very safe long tearm hold!!!
look cheap. I last bought in at this price, got a 20% rise, looking to buy more and keep them stashed away for years, this stock will be £15+ in a stable market, will see £12.50 again before Christmas. BG. have got great potential and will have a few take over offers in the near future. Want some where to put your money and forget about it this stock will be safe!
I wouldnt like to say how soon or late they will be back at £12.20 but I certinly wouldnt sell at that price, BG. is laying in some real good foundation for the future 10+ years just now and will be a good steady rise for the next few years taking them up to the £14-£16 mark, this is a undervalued stock, wont move overnight but put it in your pension and forget about it. too many people looking for a quick buck but thats how to lose money, paitence is key at playing with stocks like this. Good luck.
should be good long buy with the NG/oil price being spread over 20x, normally sits at 12x so Im in this for the divis and the NG price rising like normal over winter when we all turn the heaters on! Get in now before £11.50. GL all.
follows oil like it always does in 4-20weeks we will see good things. get in for the long haul upwards early folks.
I know this news is a few days old but these wont hang about at this price for long. Great long term buy with great divis on the way. BG Group has snapped up a 50% stake in US firm Exco's fields in east Texas and north Louisiana. The $1.3 billion (£780 million) deal represents BG's entry into the shale gas business and will add 2.6 trillion cubic feet of natural gas to its reserves. Frank Chapman, chief executive of BG, said: "This alliance brings material new resources and supply to our existing US business at a competitive price and in a prime location at the heart of the world's largest gas market."
Had a good day mate? Im still holding my short on RIO, and put a sneeky short on the ftse before hours when I seen the Dow had broke 7000, was a easy easy day for indices. Hope you done well! What Stocks you holding? Iv beed stopped out my SL. and Sold my RBS last week obiously, made 50% on them, very happy.
ment to be $ yen
£30K I bought at 166 is starting to look healthy. Hope some others are in on this. Still holding, also holding a few Aviva, was expecting lower but happy with entry now, also was long £ yen, cheers CT7 for that tip. I owe you, late entry at 9407 but £40 per point made it up. I owe you a drink!
Great price, I just bought £30k worth at this price!
100% spread u will need it
Iv been looking to buy since I left the RM 2 years ago, looked seriously in to it last september and noticed this was going to burst and hurt alot of people, Think i read in the investors chronicle mag 2 weeks ago that the the average house price to meet the average wage they would have to drop another 30% which will be 42% (thereabouts) since peek in july07.
you thinking the dragon is going to follow?
(from another board) A couple of points to bear in mind. All good and well talking about sales achieved so far. No mention of recent sales trends. Those will have collapsed and prices fallen in sympathy. Shares do look cheap and cashflow should start to return to parent company as preference shares interest becomes due. On the flipside you have a large hedge fund presence here. As they liquidate they are forced sellers. That will cap the upside. Have a look at UCP if you want an example of how harsh selling can get. They have no debt, cash which is double current share price and have rental income which ensures the company is profitable. Shares trading at 4p versus last reported NAV of 150p+. Don't expect that to remain the case post results but it is an example of how forced hedge fund liquidations can cause havoc at present in illiquid stocks.
i dont think you are but if something looks to good to be true it normaly is and this is one of they situations thats holding my back. are you holding many?
you an accountant?
Iv held dgo in the past, i wouldnt buy in over 125, 120 is strong support, i expect to see 120 or lower next week. not sure about these people selling larg holdings but it is a good company.
CHARTRADER, have a look at this one would you, would I be right is saying if it rises at all tomoro morning then its a good buy signal?? Thanks for all the tips so far.
