Next week I think we'll see a positive trading statement especially in terms of loan book performance/collections and possibly more details on the agreement with the FCA on provision for redress. DYOR etc etc this is purely based on mine and some colleagues research (outside of the company) and the timing last year. Good look all holders.

Wouldn't exactly call it a flurry but spread has just tightened up. It was this time last year end of feb, Im sure when pineapple said he was out and shares doubled :-)0)

What rationale do you suspect the FCA (a Government body) would have for "moving as slowly as possible, to put them under the maximum financial stress"?

Bit of a tree shake (for want of a better phrase at these low volumes ;-) in last hour at least someone bombed the ask down for 45 mins and picked up some cheap and now its back to where it was before...

Into Auction now cant buy. Be interesting to see what it uncrosses at......

Just been going through the sales on L2 platform and looks like someone was bashing the ask down with smaller sells (on SETS ie DMA) before some bigger buys on same. e.g. 11:50:47 25k sold to small bidder of same amount dropped highest bid from 2.7 to 2.6 then 11:51:18 11538 sold to small bidder offering 2.5 dropped best bid to 2.25 briefly and ask to 2.6 then buys of 121389 , 92411,57480,106320 & 268060 at lowered ask of 2.595 /2.6 all on SETS at full ask. So someone's added a few today at a lowered price. Suspect small private trader with DMA trying to make a small easy profit in next couple of days.

L2 is moving more to the buy side. Ive added a few, this is the sort of pattern NSF has followed before whether its leaks or whatever. From what I guess (DYOR etct etc;-) about the FCA investigation (or lack thereof!) this is a Warren Buffet style 'Cigar butts' classic (with a bit of 'Bubba Gump Shrimp' last man standing analogy thrown in for good luck!)

Ive averaged down to 2.95 over the last couple of days on a pretty big position (for this share) and as chance would have it last time I had a position around the 3 average was when it popped to 6 plus feb/mar time. I cant remember any significant news that caused a day spike back then but volume just picked up massively over a couple of weeks. Ive been looking at the charts (im not a chartist really) around that time and nothing significant has changed (if anything things have got better) and this share is just bonkers enough to do it again. Don, DYOR etc etc but Loans at Home is only 15% of the loan book of every day loans. If they were centralising it would make sense to fold it into the bigger brand....IMOHO only (as people are throwing around phrases including material information ;-)

I got my Divi on the 14th "14/12/21 DEPO Pan African Resources PLC DIVIDEND @0.008495". Ive got mine in a Level 2 trader account with IG. Its a great platform and IG are pretty on the ball.

I think this is overspill from the troubles at Amigo which I believe when you look carefully is a totally different situation to NSF. We can still trade, our redress issues are a lot smaller and IMHO NSF were a much more responsible lender. If FCA come down hard on Amigo and kill them off then I know there will be political pressure not to be over zealous with NSF as no one wants the large number of people who can only get finance from the likes of NSF to be pushed into the hands of illegal lenders. Hard to be brave isn’t it?! ;-)

So opening new larger offices and not requiring customers to visit smaller local offices so much (a likely more cost effective model and a model proven during the pandemic) is a negative signal? Their underwriting/affordability procedures are what 'likely' (DYOR etc) impressed the FCA and those have been further strengthened in the last year particularly on affordability. Guarantor loans was also a far smaller part of this operation than most Peers e.g. our old friends over at Amigo (having a bad day today!). If I had to guess what Alchemy were looking at now I would guess they are weighing the strength of the current loan book Vs any negs from the FCA and redress and IMHO DYOR etc the former significantly outweighs the latter hence strong buy at these prices.

Topped up sub 3.5 but there is only a tiny packet of shares on offer side left 310@3.50 then it jumps to 3.82. your broker should still offer you 3.5 or less though as long as the amount isn't large (25k-45k blocks). Spoken to someone with everyday loans knowledge and their loan book is growing but at a significantly higher quality of client credit status than the industry standard. Their procedures checks & balances have been noted best in class and I was advised any FCA scrutiny has been favourable rather than detrimental because of this. BUT DYOR!! ;-)

Some shenanigans and fun late on a Friday usually indicative of something afoot. I might be wrong (DYOR etc etc) but suspect some good news near term BUT DYOR DYOR! ;-)
