Did anyone else see this?? Not showing on LSE but its exactly when the price dropped from 222 to to 216 yesterday. Not invested myself was just looking for some friends (on my pro real time) who are heavily invested but noticed the way you lot deal with people who are perceived as posting unhelpful comments so don't shoot the messenger!!!

Im watching both L2 screens and might be wrong but I reckon there is at least a bit of selling AMIGO to come here. 2,132,590 shares traded already here.. :-)

Yeh AMIGO flying gone into auction again up nearly 20% already on the favourable court ruling for the claims against them.

Auction looks good so far. Favouring bid side with top bid 6.06 already. No offers from 'others' only MMs proper offering with cheapest offer 6.30 from CANA

Live I totally agree, any one with direct market access (including private investors) can put a bid or offer direct to the LSE order book including the market makers proper as I call them who have to display there 4 letter code next to their Bids & Offers (e.g. JPMS) and as a result can get called out straight away.

Well going in auction top bid 5.96 and cheapest offer 6.30 guess there was no IG impact.

Looking at L2 I'm now wondering if some of the I.G. positions were short positions? As they were CFD or SB no reason why they wouldn't have been so maybe that's why its not having as bigger effect as I worried about, maybe even positive if short positions are having to be covered???

Being watching L2 all morning to see if any effect from these closes and startlingly low volumes seems to be the only thing so far. Just noticed in the last few minutes though there seems to be a tentative shift to the bid side and for the first time today (and for a while since the last rise) we are down to MMs proper on the offer side (CANA @6.00) with very few shares offered by other market participants (e.g. PIs with DMA). Im going in again around 6p take another chance and hope I dont get burned at the close! GLA

One month ago $1 bought you 15.04 rand today it buys you 14.95 rand so don't see that correlation between SP and exchange rate and even in your example 19 down to 14 to correct your subject he Rand hasnt weakened its got stronger compared to the dollar (thats why your 1 dollar buys less of them!). We want it the other way round as we sell in dollars and pay the majority of expenses in Rand. I'm definitely buying at these prices, Gold miners like PAF are the the share to hold through these coming uncertain months. I might be wrong but I think there is a big shock coming to the main stream system even if central bank chiefs dismiss all this debt as nothing to worry about. Gold has been around longer than any of them.

Check my last steve, doesnt seem "a risk" @5p now but got to say I bottled it @ 6.7p this morning. Still worried about those leveraged trades closing on Friday and this AMGO news could be a chance for holders to cut them before the brokers do it for them. GLA.

Yep since I last looked Bids have got the upper hand now. Cheapest a MM proper (Panmure Gordon PMUR) will sell is 5.40 and all SETS trades have been on the ask side (buys) bar one when someone bid 5.18 for 20kish shares. Im taking a risk and going in for some @5ish

Yeh offer side massively outweighs bid side. 4 cheapest lots on offer side total just over 800k between 4.89>5.00 with a single none MM proper offering a single lot of 538500@5p. I may be wrong but I think people are trying to offload leveraged positions before Friday deadline for them to be shut automatically by the various brokers but DYOR.

@Deannaik Remember a lot of leveraged positions in NSF mandatorily closing this Friday. Dont know if AMGO and PFG were on the list? If not surely that's why the divergence??

L2 it looked more flat all through the auction but just now looks like bids starting to get the edge on offers

Look back at my previous on leveraged positions (CFDs & Spreadbets) being mandatorily closed before end of March on certain small caps of which NFS is on the list certainly at my broker IG. Think the date is 26th March but don’t quote me (out and about at mo). I sold a load when I heard but others didn’t think it would make much difference so could be a coincidence. Also FCA have been flexing their muscles more than previously over at Amigo and may spell trouble for us but once again DYOR. I’ll probably be back in after March deadline for positions closing.

Action on opening Auction uncrossed 285k shares @ 6.58. Best bid @6.60 and cheapest offer @7.22. Offer side slightly stronger but nothing in it and no depth at all on buy or sell side its MMs proper actually making the Market for once only 1 other participant on either side at mo.

@seanyj1 welcome to the NSF board. Its not like a lot of boards no rabid pro nsf and a curse on anyone who dares speak against NSF, ive found it very honest and informative (caveat that by saying a guy called Mr Pineapple didnt always extol the virtue of unbiased commentary but has left!(but I quite miss him now he's gone)). In that spirit Ive replied on a thread that you might want to read the end of. Basically NSF is on a list of AIM shares that certain firms (e.g. IG) are mandatorily closing all leveraged positions on at the end of March so DYOR but might be worth thinking about buying the actual shares instead of CFDs or spread bets if you want to come on board before end of March. I myself top sliced (lucky enough to have bought some as low as 3p or slightly less) when I heard and might like yourself wait for a dip if it comes after end of March (supply/demand etc). I may be wrong and as I say DYOR.

Swanny might be coincidence but offer side stronger than the bids today and checked out a bit more about I.G. keeping your CFDs and you would have to be a 'premium customer' whatever that is. Not putting an opinion but Ive top sliced and may buy back in after the crunch date end of march but I may be wrong but you were onto something just depends how many of these are held leveraged.

Swanny IG and others only closing trading on certain leveraged aim stocks. I use IGs in house platform (L2) but my holdings in NSF are shares not CFDs or spreadbets so no leverage, so are ok. Also I think there is actually a way around it, you can sign a form of Title Transfer to IG. That means they don't hold your funds in a separate client account with the financial guarantees that go with that.
