Small- and mid-caps "offer the excitement of discovery and the potential for substantial growth," write UBS strategists

Jerry Fowler and Sean Simond, speaking of the fascinating task of searching for hidden gems amid the myriad of options available in global stock markets.

To help stock pickers in this endeavour, the Swiss bank has looked outside the obvious STOXX 600 and FTSE 100 benchmarks, filtering over 2,500 non-indexed stocks in Europe for criteria such as quality, positive price momentum and negative crowding.

The end result is a screen of 23 stocks spanning 15 industries, 11 countries, and a market cap from 5 billion euros to as low as 300 million. Have a look.

No large lots but already got a bid of 64,000 @ 16.66 higher than yesterdays close but its not by a named MM (e.g. WINS SCAP, CANA etc) so could disappear so we shall see...

I wish I was on L2 for the closing auction but was away from desk but it was massive. 16,729,542 volume of which 13,399,847 looks like was settled in the auction with the auction best bid ending 16.54 and offer 16.66 hence the auction closing print price. If id been on live could have seen the bid/offer lot sizes (market makers standard lot size is 75,000 for PAF) would have been fascinating but that chance has gone. No idea what it means but I'll definitely make sure im on for the opening auction at 7.50!

Buy for a million printed after uncrossing trade @ the end of the auction so they got what they were after at a 'mysteriously' low price after all? :

Dont see why just the chosen few should take advantage of Gentlemen's prices so I scooped some up today, after all can always hold for Divi (Ex 30 Nov Paid 12 Dec) but as has been said many times this share could be a Gold mine...

And a couple more today and yesterday I see from those 12.15 RNS's at these mysterious bargain prices 🤣

Noticed a pattern of pushdown in the morning session then back up the afternoon last week whereas pretty steady this week until today. Think someone trying to bag something today stacked offers of small parcels all the way down to the cheapest MM proper WINS who is offering to sell @17.00 and thats the cheapest offer. If these small parcels get knocked off could go back up sharply but as always DYOR etc etc ;-)

Nice to see CEO and Finance director read the LSE board. It’s a buy Cobus! 😂

Looked for mining operations globally after reading an article about the potential of this stuff to enhance the life of car batteries etc significantly which IMO will become a bigger and bigger thing when the older batterie's start going in numbers. 80% comes from one family controlled company in Brazil CBMM but the Chinese also have a 15% stake... Taseko have the largest operation in the US/Canada and the NYSE listing has gone up 20% since then end of May but in the same time period the good old LSE listing has gone up....0%! Its very illiquid on LSE and hard to buy in larger amounts not to mention the spreads but its a solid company below the radar IMO DYOR etc with this Niobium project (Aley Niobium Project in northern British Columbia) a future potential little gem?

LWHL you might have been heard on the 26th "Would like to see Mr Loots and some of his colleagues buy some today too if possible." 2x RNS on I.G. this morning small purchases by CEO and CFO on the 26th.

So well sell in USD and pay expenses in ZAR couldnt really be much better currency wise.

Lucky you may well be living up to your name. I rated these a buy in the 16s but with that wobble over mintails funding overblown (IMO) I was buying these all the way down from there to their recent 3 year low of late 12s-13p (last time they were that low was when COVID hit!) and Mintails is now funded with no dilution and Gold is going through the roof as we speak. I might be wrong but dont think you'll get a better chance to buy in than now. Anyway Im off now to see if I can change my login to LuckyNostra...

Troajan good spot this only flagged up on my L2 dealer platform at 12.48 today from news direct feed (see below) and I cant see it reported much elsewhere. IMO this is a bargain again back down in the 16s and as far as Im concerned from a trading point of view PAF is the gift that keeps on giving. Load in the 16s take 10 -20% or hold for divis its a nice easy share to make safe money on. DYOR etc etc.

Max if I remember that's just remunerating one of the guys who works with NSF hence why its always the same and regular.
Big thing today is Amigo stumbling badly on their Cap raise and if they are stumbling I think NSF would find it very difficult. Shame, this was once one of my go to trading shares but the bid graph kind of sums it up now, flatline.

Got my Divi today and re-invested. In the current climate this is one of my favourite shares, profitable , pays a Divi, nearly debt free and digs Gold out of the ground circa $1145 with gold $1700+. Whats not to like?? At these prices as well. This regularly ranges between 16s & 20s so strong buy for me but DYOR etc etc GLA

LOL I havent been on here as much for some time but I remember that name. Is he still around?? Wasnt he "Incoming!!!" etc? And before you say it Im not the new Sujood I suspect I'll be off here again....unless my mate is right in which case I may pop back for a small I told you so ;-)

I dont post much but piled some of these into my pension Circa £2.40 (hindsight etc) after a chat on here way back 14 Jun 2021 so obviously down but someone with way more than me in here has told me there will be a big positive announcement before the end of November so good luck all and lets hope this finally comes good as Ive seen a million posts just like mine now today on here and still waiting!!! :-))))
