Sounds like a number of companies are now getting the process right which can only be useful for future drilling and results.

The beginning of the week after that drilling of the lateral has begun. So, I'm thinking maybe an sp of 4-4.5p by the end of the month and then if all goes to plan higher again when the results are announced.

Can the oil be directly connected to a pipeline, or will it be shipped by tanker until the pipeline is available?

With the move up of the sp. Here's hoping for a lot more to come backed up by positive news on a number of fronts. I think we will get lots more good news - they seem to now just report a single issue per RNS which is fine by me as it adds to the momentum rather than lots being included in one RNS.

Key thing is production - will be good to hear the lateral drilling is underway and then after a number of weeks then production results.

Imho think this will be a very good year for Zephyr.

And a successful 2025. I know I keep going on about this but does anyone know why we haven't had the CPR report by now?

My assumption is a good FOR will help to promote Zephyr's prospects and assist with raising capital to speed up the drilling of future wells.

I've seen with Amines so many times now. Big news so jumps - lack of news so gradually declines. As a number of others have said today news is required. However, I think the problem in a nutshell is that the Tanzanian government say the will do something then they don't do it, or there are long delays before they do. The pipeline the most obvious example - has it started or when is it due to start? Let's hope there is a change in 2025

Early Christmas presents from Aminex. Hopefully we will get some good news in 2025 - I would have thought As a are now keen to get things moving - just need the Tanzanians to fulfil their part of the deal.

Highest sp increases over a year on AIM. Do people think they can do the same in 2025?

Pure speculation I will go for at least 10p this time next year. Imho they have really got to look at increasing the pace of progress though. Not been the best of years in terms of where I thought the sp would be - hopefully next year we will see better progress.

I did mention this in one of my recent posts. In their RNS about 3 months ago the singled it out as an urgent priority, so yes not a clue what is happening with the CPR.

I sincerely hope so. However, I still think they have to consider how they progress things more quickly.

They have said that themselves but the speed of progress hasn't lived up to what they themselves have suggested.

If they can turn that round yes the negativity will disappear.

Is moving will at least be having discussions amongst the BOD on how or if they need a change in strategy.

Not that long ago I thought the strategy of invest in non up assets, drill and invest production revenue and repeat.

What then wasn't obvious, to me at least was the delays. I think that is what they need to sort out however they do it.

Otherwise we see what the result can be.

The ambitions of Zephyr and that they said recently they wanted to prioritise the production of their CPR then I thought companies in this position would be easily able to raise capital and expand - multiple drills going at once for example. Is it just that Zephyr are not wanting to take the risk of extra debt on their balance sheet. If that is the case then I think it explains why we are where we are currently and any expansion will have to wait until revenue starts to come in from production.

Along in terms of progress too. The delay for 36-2 obviously put them behind schedule and they then seem to have to learn things at each step they take. Hopefully things learned now will save time later - just a great shame it has meant a lack of progress and any lack of news as I have seen a number of times results in a drift down in the sp.

Not sure what news is due but some positive news between now and end of Q1 will be very much welcome.

Yes I have also wondered about a presentation. They seem to operate sequentially step by step. At one time I thought we might see a grand plan with a number of potential wells but they don't seem to work that way and raising capital to move forward cautiously seems to be where they are at imho at the moment.

I do wish they wouldn't promise certain things e.g. The CPR as a priority then we don't hear anything - it just makes you feel a little less confident 're what they say versus what they do.

Hopefully better progress next year.

Made me smile EbbsandFlows. Must admit I also expected better progress but as long as they can get what they have promised by say the end of Q1 2025 then surely the company and sp will be in a different place. They do seem to be very cautious with some of their decision making but I think that is all to do with cash available in the bank. Once that starts to increase then hopefully they will make better/faster progress.
