Bud, I agree with a lot that you say. The whole retail spectrum is changing. Some older established retailers are changing with it successfully and some are not, no matter what they seem to do. Alongside all that there are new style retailers catering very well for the change in consumer habits. I saw something the other day about the stores being nearly empty for the black Friday, cyber Monday weekend. I don't like the sound of that this close to Christmas regardless. Stores should be heaving. I think it's generally agreed that the clothing is no good, even if you can keep it for decades. Things need to be stuff that people want and will buy. Prices must be competitive. If they can't get their main customer base in to buy there gear then who have they lost them to? Can they get them back, how long can they keep fighting this losing battle? All I see are new food halls being opened, and they are struggling too, so it speaks volumes about the seriousness of their efforts in other aspects of their business. Am I wrong? How long can they maintain a reasonable dividend if things remain the same?
