I'm doing ok tbh. I have about 25 shares and across the board I'm 5% in profit. I've had a couple of lucky day trades and overall think I must be up. Not too sure though. I took 40% profits in UEN very early and missed out on making about £5k. If I had the chance again I'd do what I did here and 'top slice' Failure is the best way to learn, I'm sure there a very few people who haven't had some bad trades - in spite of what they may say. HBoS & Barclays wiped out all my Sept 19th profits and some. I've gradually become more cautious. Bit too cautious tbh, should've bought Barc at 50p but dithered too long

Ditto with LAM. Felt I'd missed out and bought again at the top, now licking my wounds and nursing a big loss. May do the same with Highland Gold but that one seems to be rising quite nicely.
