If I read the Auctus report correctly for each successful well it adds 10p to the value per share ? So we only need 1 of the 3 this year to be successful ?

I am still very optimistic Eqtec will become a very successful company. I'm not too worried about the share price atm, I invested for years not weeks.

It is just a way of using gas without flaring until they can connect to a pipeline.

I'm sure each person has their reasons but personally I am really looking forward to all the news flow in H2 and beyond.

The full Auctus PDF is worth a read and gives some of the history of how Zephyr metamorphasized from previous incarnations. Basically everything changed when Colin Harrington became involved and developed a more focussed strategy but like I say the PDF is worth a read.

Maybe but whether it does or not we have an exciting 6 months coming up with lots of news and I expect a few surprises. I've been invested since January and despite the confidence knock with the share price illogically dropping below 4p I shall stick around for some time as I like the ambition of the management. They got a lot of criticism for the last share placement but in hindsight they played a blinder.

Historically wells in the Paradox basin cost $8-$14m to drill but with improvement in technology/modern rigs Zephyrs drilling is likely to come in below these old figures. 16-2 cost around $3m to drill but that was on an existing well pad. There probably isn't a definitive answer to drilling cost(each drill may be different) but you could estimate upwards of $3m, my guess would be between $3m and $8m per well. Maybe someone else could come up with something more precise ?

This is an interesting article which I expect some people have seen before. Just a reminder of the background to why Zephyr think they will be successful in drilling in the Paradox basin. They have had the advantage of better seismic mapping and geological research and were successful with the16-2 well. My favourite bit of this article is that 99.2%(estimate) of the oil/gasis still in the ground.

I think there are quite strict Government requirements in the licencing of a pipeline in the USA so the charges can't be extortionate. I couldn't find a price for gas but oil is relatively cheap in 2014 which is the latest figures I could find it was $5 a barrel but I believe that price came down slightly when the oil price dropped. As oil is more valuable than gas I expect the charges for gas would be reasonable.

Good find Indi123. I hope he's right and Zephyr grow into a £500m+ company and we know he's right when he says Zephyr are undervalued just now.

Good interview, he says the Zephyr market cap is below the Williston assets alone.

There is no doubt the US government wants the Paradox oil/gas recovery to be a success, the potential is enormous and with improvement in technology there is a much greater chance of realising that potential.

I don't think there is much in the RNS we didn't already know and I remain optimistic that Zephyr are well worth investing in.

I agree, with the general sentiment across the market at the moment positive news isn't helping much.
