If your broker does it they can minimise and if you do it yourself you can use limits to try limit.

However what you do is sell and then rebuy in the isa including your profit you made from the sale where money is lost is if you sell at 33 then buy at say 36 but it’s marginal amount you can always top up the extra and also any associated fees however I’m sure the small loss is not worth the hassle and cost of the 10% the tax man will take. Also if you keep any profit in your isa and don’t withdraw it won’t affect your isa limits and will allow you to grow your isa giving you more than 20k to invest if that’s something you want to do
