I we made a bit of a balls up with NEX Paddy but still made profit it on it but not as much as we could have done, i must say Paddy i have done the same with quite a few shares.

Pokerchips you are on about shorters and a lot of the time they are right ie carillon Debenhams etc well the way you are talking then what's to say they are wrong about PFC the way they are shorting this you could say that this is going down the pan.

Personally if the SFO doesn't slap a massive fine on PFC I think it will come good, if they do fine them a lot and then they have to go down the road with a rights issue then it could drop below 100, it all depends on the SFO and whether they want to make an example of PFC, we should get to find out more come next month.

Don't know where that rating has come from streaky i can't find anything about being downgraded, there is something about another PFC but it is not Petrofac.

I wish it were lignumvitae but most likely not, they seem to be in such things to do with the internet, they could target cine that has gone up since this started, i can tell you this if i were them i would pull my gains out while i were so much in profit.

Hell of a lot of shares are making a comeback now lot of money to make today if you had the funds and the bxxxx to pick some out.

Wish I knew what reason a share can suddenly turn one way or another, I can understand why this has gone down in the past few days, but I can't fathom out why a share suddenly for no reason that I can see just suddenly starts to soar.

Have always said short selling should be banned, you buy into a company that is shorted a lot and you haven't a clue whether the share is going to go up or down, you are in the hands of the hedge funds, it is like this week the share has gone up to 128 you haven't a clue whether it is going to go up or down because the shorters are in control.

Today be a down day, they are saying the markets are in for a downer today hope we aren't going to see our gains from this week wiped out again.

I am just above you paddy at 120, don't know what I will do if it goes up tomorrow, I would love to keep them till they hit 150 but you know me when you get a decent profit i usually sell.

Sometimes you just can't weigh up the stock market, you have cineworld up like that with the cinemas shut, then you have jet2 which has climbed and climbed and not going on holidays, you have got RR which is burning money left right and centre and gained 10% since yesterday and then you have BOO which seems unable to move out of the 330s what a strange world the stock market is.

2 days rises, it would be nice to have 6 days of rises like we had 6 days of losses, we can all dream sometimes.

Is the point of these going up 15p yesterday just to lose half of it today.

I watch on a daily basis is jet2 that dropped this last couple of days but is now up 52 today, that is another that always seems to come back, and why it is so high i can't fathom when they might not be going on holiday this year.

Pokerchips if I had got in at 105 I definitely wouldn't sell at a loss just to try and get in lower, don't know when you bought in or how many you bought, but you could have sold on Friday at a 3p profit then buy back, but even so 105 is a very good buy in price imo, put it this way I wish my buy in price was 105, but then again everyone has their own strategy.

Yes I remember MNC there was a chap who were in big time in Tlw and jumped ship into MNC only to lose the lot, really felt sorry for him.
