It looks like the offer could be 145 just dropped to around that, we really could do with someone else putting a bid in because this could be the final bid from sycamore.

Spud how do you know the bid is 145 I know it just dropped 15 minutes ago.

Anyone know what percentage Tosca owns now in TED because don't they have to put a bid in for a company when they reach 30 percent

I don't know about BOO taking over Ted, they should watch out for amazon selling all clothes cheap, or maybe amazon might take over Boo, wish they would because i have a lot of shares in Boo.

I don't know where the daily mail gets Ted is struggling.

BOO can't seem to get above 100, every time we get to around 98 we get pushed back down.

Sycamore have made another bid, but once again the board are not telling us what that bid is, not right imo, it looks like another bidder is coming in as well.

Just wonder at what price the board are thinking TED to be a decent offer, us little shareholders are are in the dark on this one, we are all just presuming what price.

The only thing here is if the board keep turning down offers and parties walk this will sink back down.

Tosca increased again, wonder if they are going for a bid.

I don't know a great deal about takeovers 32, but i feel the board should have had at least told the shareholders that they had a bid of 130 then another bid of 137 without having to here from it on sky news, shareholders on this board new nothing about even the first bid, we on here were all waiting to see what the bid was.

At what price will the board let the small shareholders know about a bid, their could be a bid come in at say 150-160 and the board could just dismiss this without even giving out an RNS, not right imo.
They could at least give out an rns stating in our opinion this is not enough.

If Sycamore withdraws now ( which i think they will ) and no one else seems interested, if the share price does not get up to around the 130 mark in the next 3 months then the board should have to answer to the shareholders why it is not.

We all should have known really, it's like Peteret has just said it stinks, i said when all this started if no decent offer comes it will drop back, but it is greed really we all want that bit more including myself, but the board should have told us when the first offer came in and then you could have judged yourself whether to sell around the 130 mark, instead we have watched it sink below the 120 mark, and i can see it drifting down even more.

This could stick around the 115 -120 mark even if sycamore pull out with the board stating they have turned the corner now, imo i don't think sycamore was really serious about taking over, if they were i would have thought the offer would have been at least 150.

I don't think Tosca will step up, unless Sycamore are serious (which i don't think the are) they don't need to if Sycamore withdraws now it will be back to square one.

IMO if the markets had an inkling that sycamore were going to put another bid in, then i would think the share price would now be around the 135 mark not the 121 mark, just my opinion.

Just been into my trading account and the bid price for Ted was 102 something wrong there.

That is not good enough not giving shareholders a clue that a bid had come through, the share price went up to 137 the day the second bid came through, so the markets must have known about the bids but not the small shareholders, we are in the dark once again, we will only know when either the share goes up or down.

I see that the motley fool has changed his mind once again, it wasn't so long ago he was adding boo to his portfolio, now he is saying he isn't adding boo to his portfolio, he is looking like his last name even more a lately.

Really speaking if they can just withdraw without even making an offer, that stinks then, they should have to at least make an offer even if it is a low one.
Makes you wonder if they just wanted to push the price up.

I don't know the ins and outs of takeovers, but can a company say they want to make an offer and then just withdraw without even making an offer, because if they can then to me that seems to be insider trading, any thoughts anybody.

Something happening, either they are getting short of shares to try and maybe get some stop losses out, or the market has had a snifter.
