Hi Trisor, could well be a combination of Shroders reducing that tiny amount seen recently and other II joining in disposing some of their cpi positions but still using the off-book system to deviate attention from the would be 'worried' punters.

Selling and Buying Off-Book are trading practices used by well established professional trading accounts to make their trades less likeable to be monitored in real time and so getting up to no good for some like us small punters.

If those suppoused trades had all been executed sameday today, then I would had expected a share price drop between 1/2 to a 1 penny.

Since its all off-book none of the trading ranges seen today will be accurate as its kind of a distorted trading day. So, better not to read too much into it as those traders are probably in a ploy to throw off their scent. Better wait till next Monday.

Here is another 500,000 seen as aSell trade on ADVFN at 15:23:21 time and an Off-Book trade on the London Stock Exchange it got flagged as an off-book trade too.

From the 4th December to today, the trading ranges have been from 20.30p to 20.80p with the odd time touching plus 21p. Imho, the assumed sells could easily have taken place various days ago and getting posted late as off-book.

It seems Trisor that most of those large trades are sells as seen by me on ADVFN. See below and compare these with the London Stock Exchange that has flagged those as Off-Book trades.

We're getting all hacked HHH81

Britain's largest nuclear site has been hacked by cyber groups closely linked to Russia and China, according to reports.

Sellafield in Cumbria is a former power station that now processes nuclear waste from across Britain dating back decades - a task that makes it the most hazardous location in the country.

Officials are said to be unaware when the site was first hacked but came across sleeper malware, which can be used to spy or attack systems, as far back as 2015.

I believe MW did so probabilmente with the Monday Tuesday low ball drops whereby the Market Makers threw out wide spreads which almost drop cpi to 18p. MW must have realised that it would be wiser not push their luck.

Although the hedge funds are not obliged to let us know of their opening and close of the short positions, some likes MW have today done so.

Marshall Wace LLP shirt reduced further down to 0.59% from last seen miniscule reduction when it was at 0.69% on the 1-November-2023

MW must be really happy after that $40million silver treasure shipwreck finding for which now they're in a legal battle to claim it.

19.10p UT for 4,470,123 on the sell side seen on the ADVFN website.

If only we had the same amount of interest as the Petrofact company who has been taken to pieces by the shorters. However, cpi with hardly anything to worry and with a stable future ahead still doesn't seem to attract the right kind of investors other than the odd random punter.

I do agree with you Trisor on that reasoning.

Jon Lewis would want to leave Capita with a great finale that way nobody will dare to say he failed. But until then, we don't know what his last plans to impress on his retirement date will be. I'm still waiting to see if Adolfo has plans to buy in before his January official start and get cpi shares on the cheap or pay much more if we cpi gets to climb up after the December update.

Happy to hear too Sharehead, but you can't say that us the cpi longs are getting a fair deal. Look at how the market makers used wide spreads at the start of the day trading. They do that on purpose to take out stop losses. None of today trading is fair. The constant swinging of the random nosense wide spreads smell really rotten to the core. God give strength to carry on😑

If I had to be totally honest, AimMaster2018 was spot on again in calling a reversal in the share price last week. To be dropping back this far after it cleared the 21.50p only last week is totally sickening. It must be one of the most hated investments out there. No wonder its called Crapita the ugly sitting duck that nobody wants to be friends with.

Anyhow, I shall have to stick with through thick and thin till better days come again don't know when and where. 🤢🤮🤬

Desperate times for AimMaster2018 requires desperate measures albeit they're the only ones needing to invoke those desperate measures. We are actually quite confident seating and waiting it out. Can't wait for the glorious Monday the last day for any 'Black Friday' final shopping events. It could well be the last time we get to see cpi at just under 20p.

If that's is really what Jon Lewis has planned out for his retirement exit finale, then I would say to anyone still yet to invest in Capita to place your buying orders before we close for good till next Monday.

When it was almost at 15 most said no chance as there was more to drop.

When it was at sweet 16, again no interest as 14 was on most punters minds.

When we reached just 17, again not good enough as 15 was really what most wanted.

When we get 18 and 19, still most stuck wondering what happened to their wishful thinking.

When we get to almost 22, again few held on as they realised a small 5 to 10% profit which should help them repeat their suppoused winning formula of eat, sleep, repeat wishing for a drop well below 19p. Take your picks now or pay more on Monday. Happy Weekend all.😁
