Beware that NoFear was behind many hard to find and at time hidden valuable data that none knew beforehand including that renewed Irish contract that a month later was announced by the Capita IR in an official RNS. Most of you seem to miss the point and are blinded by all that high expectations that the new incoming Ceo Adolfo will deliver what Jon Lewis said in his December TU comes year end 2024. I doubt it it will be that kind of smooth sailing ⛵️

I'm afraid that the 'come on down' Adolfo 'artificial intelligence' Amazon wizkid tech guy will hardly make an impact on the share price. The truth is that the cpi is too expensive still at current levels. Please do ask you inner city boys friends for advice when you're out again sometime this week. They might be able to advise you on your next must do ASAP investment move. Best of luck, but I wouldn't count on it. You need more than luck here. Figure it out yourself. To be honest, I was thinking of you AimMaster2018. You've spoken for me too with your last post. Somehow just before I posted this comment I had a thought you would had drop a comment similar to what I had in mind. We seem to be in much tune with each other.

Sounds good to me and know at what price will get in again. I have a gut feeling that cpi will be tomorrow opening lower along with other UK stocks too.

There's still enough volatility across the world stock markets that will continue suppressing or reverse any share price gains whatever amounts it be that will infuriate investors and thereby test their patience.

Indeed, cpi will be one of those stocks at most at risk of collapsing due to its renowned weak knees that has never in the past failed to manifest when the negative algorithms start feeding through the stock market and it ends producing its knee-jerk reaction.

It's being tempting to get back in even at these current levels speciale when today it went close to 5% on a low volumes trading day. But, I might have to take a dive in at the last minute to be sure the uptrend isn't going to turn into a bull trap. I'll be watching tomorrow and figure it out. Cheers🤑

I just couldn't bare the bumpy journey anymore. But I'm still hoping for a better road layout than the currently seen one. I said 17.50p and lower, but actually should had said 16.49p and lower which is also around the similar levels where the Capita BoD and Jon Lewis have last year bought into.

However, if cpi does indeed go back to sub 17, than it would also risk going further down and test the sub 15p levels which it tried to do on various occasions last year. Have a good👍

None of you who keep calling out our lse tag names can guarantee that Capita will be able to hold it up any higher than 22p.

I'm expecting a drastically lower share price in the next 14 days. Anyhow, due to the general negative sentiment in the stock market since the start of the new year, I've gone back in cash and will be looking to buy distressed stocks like cpi but not a current levels as its too expensive. Will consider anything from 17.6p and lower.

After reaping the benefits of a lucrative sale of mobile phone masts across Europe, Hutchison 3G, which trades as Three, made its first payout to the multinational conglomerate since its launch in the UK market two decades ago.

Months after paying out the dividend, Three raised some of its contract prices by 14 per cent.

What I don't get as to why Vodafone UK has not mentioned that CK Hutchison company update since its to do with Vodafone UK and their merger proposal.

But as you put it, if Vodafone was to dispose of Africa, India an perhaps sell Italy too rather than merge with Lliad or Swisscom, then we could see Vodafone getting back in their coffeers well over £28 billions including also the already sold Spain. It would be able to reduce its debt to much less than £10billions from its current plus £36billions.

[CK Hutchison delays shareholder circular on Vodafone-3 UK merger by up to 9 months]

When the plans to merge were announced in June, CK Hutchison expected to send out a shareholder circular containing more information on the transaction and a notice of the EGM by 31 December 2023, but this has now been pushed back to a deadline of 30 September 2024.

Yes I agree with you, but it's important that some business operation that Vodafone has across the globe and in particularly close to home like Ireland is mentioned as 'it may' have an effect on the UK stock price valuation just like the 'possibile merge' with Lliad or Swisscom could also have if it really happens.

Vodafone's review of 2023 shows that evenings were the busiest periods on its networks, with 9pm typically the busiest hour on the mobile network and 10pm on the fixed network.

The Vodafone research shows that Sundays see the peak of activity on the broadband network, experiencing the highest traffic volume.

It also reveals that Fridays show a distinctive surge from 2pm onward, surpassing the acceleration seen on any other weekday.

Vodafone said that overall, Irish customers consumed 28% more Mobile Data compared to 2022, driven by increased streaming demand as they move away from traditional television.

Meanwhile Vodafone customers made 3.90 billion voice calls in 2023, a decrease from the 4.05 billion calls made in 2022.

For much of this century, the Italian telecommunications group TIM was often considered an underperforming company. It was loaded with too much debt, it struggled in a highly competitive domestic market and it was plagued with management quarrels and political interference from Italian governments of all stripes.

Heading into the new year, however, executives at TIM will have reasons to be cheerful.

The group’s largest shareholder, French conglomerate Vivendi, asked a Milan court last month to overturn the board’s decision to split the business and sell the network to private equity group KKR without a shareholder vote. But Vivendi stopped short of requesting the judges to put the deal on hold in the interim. This essentially means that the plan will go ahead despite the French company’s complaint.

If the Italian case were to bring about a broader discussion, including among European regulators, on the needs for continental consolidation it would also be welcome news, experts say. Analysts and investors have been critical of the EU’s competition authority for “not being pro-deals”, but it is nearing the end of its five-year term, with European parliament elections set for June.

Last week France’s Iliad proposed a takeover of Vodafone’s Italian operations, a revamped version of an offer previously declined by the UK-based group. The deal would create Italy’s largest mobile operator with a 35 per cent market share, according to analysts. Vodafone was said to be considering several options, including a potential tie-up with Swisscom-owned Fastweb in Italy.

Will Vodafone shares reach £1.50 in 2024?

Our writer thinks there’s an outside chance that Vodafone shares will reach 150p before the end of 2024. But the company will need to communicate better.

If Vodafone (LSE:VOD) shares are to reach £1.50 in 2024, they will have to more than double from their current level. Although it’s unusual for big companies to see such large swings in their share prices over a short period, it has happened before.

[Phones4U collusion trial racks up £106 million in legal costs]

Administrators launch battle to slash networks’ lEGAL COSTS

The administrators of Phones4U face a staggering legal bill of £77.2 million from the networks they sued in addition to their own costs of around £29 million.

This arises from Phones4U’s unsuccessful four-month trial during its administration, where they claimed all the mobile networks colluded to push Phones4U into bankruptcy. The failure to prove this was set out in a 750-word judgment.

Vodafone has submitted the highest legal bill, seeking £22,778,754. EE is asking for £16,208,078, Deutsche Telekom for £10,524,003, Orange for £11,891,000, O2 for £7,898,173, and Telefonica for £7,937,286.
