But I rather that you read this latest update published on the 28th February 2024 as the most accurate information to date. Anything else that is posted elsewhere is just distorted news to create interest in the Vodafone and swisscom current €8billion sale deal in the making.

Vodafone Group Plc (“Vodafone”) notes recent media speculation and confirms it is in exclusive discussions with Swisscom AG (“Swisscom”) regarding a potential sale of Vodafone Italy to Swisscom for cash.

Subject to confirming binding transaction documentation, the parties have agreed that Swisscom will acquire Vodafone Italy for an enterprise value of €8 billion on a debt and cash free basis and subject to customary closing adjustments. The enterprise value represents a multiple of c.26x consensus FY24F OpFCF1 and c.7.6x consensus FY24F Adjusted EBITDAaL1.

Vodafone has engaged extensively with several parties to explore market consolidation in Italy and believes this potential transaction delivers the best combination of value creation, upfront cash proceeds and transaction certainty for Vodafone shareholders.

There can be no certainty that any transaction will ultimately be agreed. If required, a further announcement will be made when appropriate.

That's right AimMaster2018.

I was waiting for today latest update and knew that it would had popped up. It shows us that MW are proactively back waiting it out as the rest of us are. Obviously I'm not currently invested in Capita and took my quick £1,300 profit just before the retreat kicked off in full motion. I could had got more profit out of the small rally, but was invested also elsewhere and had to just take £15k worth of cpi stock and be happy.

Profit is profit. I rather pounce and pocket 1 to 1.5p penny in between those mini rallies of gain than attempt to sit it out to reach for higher hills.

It's much safer to stay within the trend and grab and run, than wait for that major rally trend that is still a long way from the current trend.

Anyhow, I hope I can achieve my goal in a stock that I'm currently waiting to jump up on due to come news. If I can exit just before cpi was to drop again, then I shall buy cpi again and repeat the same buy and sell exercise.

As of 29th February its back to 0.53%.

It was last reduced to 0.49% on the 8th February 2024.

As you know guys we had a massive amount of trades showing up later on the day which were shown mostly as Sells.

However, what's really going on?

Could be some sub 0.50% shorts trying to close their hidden from the public shorts positions?

I mean to say which website would be more closer to publishing the true trade volumes figures between this is money and ADVFN site. I would go with the ADVFN site trade volumes figures. Imho.

Did you see today final trading volumes numbers?

Although we should take the buy and sell volumes with a pinch of salt, we cannot ignore the final numbers whichever way the trades settled for as either buy or sell trades.

Anyhow here are the final trades volumes for Vodafone as seen today on ADVFN:

Buy: 51,458,775

Sell: 246,502,412

Unknown: 9,303,393

Those numbers above could also have included off-book trades.

Does large trades including the large UT trade have appeared as 'Buy' trades on the ADVFN website.

Nevertheless, it would or wouldn't be possible to know for sure if all those after close are indeed buy trades or a mixture of buy and sells or all sells.

The fact that ADVFN has placed those trades in the buy trades column, it might put a cheer on your face.
