Not a Cineworld topic but it just shows us how financially disastrous and utterly dangerous to short stocks.
Hammerson PLC nearing towards the £3 target and almost 500% up with 14.5% shorters outstanding.
Will they be closing today? Will they be increasing their positions since the price is so high and great for
shorting ? Will they have really burned themselves with today high share price ? I'll update later today
with how many shorters are still alive after 15:30 or later as the shorters register gets updated.

Its a tough question to answer. I could expect that we would probably be sitting with 4% of shorts
upto just before the Cineworld results are published. What it would really help us if Jangho was to buy
another 0.94% of Cineworld to bring its total stake to 6%. I'm hoping and wishing for this to happen soon.

Sorry guys. I forgot to mention that on the 28th August 2020 we also had the hedge fund
59 North Capital Management LP who closed their entire Cineworld short of 0.66%. by
the 1st September. So, insofar in total we have 8.16% short. Let's wait for today shorts
hopefully closing more shorts. I wonder who will be pulling out ? Ofcourse, we would be
seeing the big volumes appearing on the trading desks like it happened on Tuesday.

Just remember why yesterday 1% of shorts was bought back and out total bought volume
was over 32Millions shares over 19Millions sells. Today the trades volumes upto 11am are
4.3Millions bought to 3.3Millions sells. Clearly something special was happening on Tuesday.

I must have predicted the future when I said last Friday in one of my post that by Tuesday we
would had be looking at 8% of Cineworld shorts. Today we have 8.16% not bad prediction.

Today we had a very interesting turn out with the shorters closing 1% of their shorts.
On the 28th August 2020 we had 9.09% of Cineworld short stock.
[BlackRock Investment Management (UK) Limited], had 0.85% short but today they have short 0.75%
[Citadel Advisors LLC], had 0.88% short but today they have short 0.71%.
Together they make a total of 0.93% reduction as of Tuesday the 1st September 2020.
As of today the shorts are 8.16%.

Good Morning All,
For your convenience and that of everyone else, I was positively supporting Cineworld as I always did
while the likes of Indepthwins was up in the darkness of the night dishing out the usual rounds of negative
posts like the Fitch Ratings article from the 15 July. So, while you were counting sheep , I was on night duty
to keep the Cines Blood suckers vampires like indepthwins on their toes. Perhaps, a grateful thanks would
not have gone amiss. Come On Cines. Get off the floor and start climbing to the upstairs. Bring on 70p. NOFEAR

I still not get it. Are you always around late at nights because
you're doing a night shift at work somewhere or because
maybe you're on different time setting from hours; for
example. Are you posting your comments from India ?
Why are you still posting those same fitch ratings
that we've seen multiple times. Have you not been
updated by the shorterGuy about our shares rally
that we've been having ? I really don't get it. Anyway

Thanks for your post. I can sleep better with that positive news.
Today I opened a bet with a buy £500 x point Capita Plc, 16th March 2021 expiring future.
Since its a forward future, it cost nothing to hold it till March 2021. I keep £8k in funds
as available funds just in case the Capita shares drops in price as extra margin. I can cover
my position all the way down to 1p if I need to. Just kidding, I'll close before it hits 1p.

Dow Jones heading in the direction of the 29,000 psychological level last seen around the 21st February 2020 before the
markets collapse due to the Covid 19 spreading across the world. It has tried in the lst few weeks to hit 29k but failed.
By the end of the week the Dow Jones will have managed to pass the 29k and remain above it for a while before
dropping back. This will be a sign that the markets are ready for putting behind the covid 19 pandemic worries of
doom and gloom. I really wish that our Footsie100 grows some b.alls and start showing some decent level of resistance
from the sellers. Will it make it to the top?

I've got £500 x point as a buy future expiring the 16th march 2021
with Capita Plc. I opened the buy bet at 30.10p and hope to see
it going for 40p soon. I also placed £8k as funds available to
stop the spread betting company trying to close me out.
I have no overnight charges or interest to pay.
The margin required for opening a £100 x point was and still is £600.10.

CFD do have charges like these examples
I use Ig Index for spread betting on Cineworld and other shares and I use
the forward futures as far as I can go like 16th March 2021 for Cineworld
You don't pay any overnight charges or interest. You pay in the future
spread buy and sell prices which follows the underlining share price
movements. My advise to you is stay away from any cfd or bets that
is not a future with at least two months at the front of the daily bets.

I agree with you on the brokers comment. They can add fuel to the fire just as much they add water to the little
fire that is left burning in a 'temporary covid 19 induced struggling company' and make the share prices drop
or rise as they tend to be the only ones spreading bad or good in coordination with spread betting companies
and investment bankers like Mstanley and others. Capitais a good company that will soon be recovering from
the depressed markets. Today the markets are in the red and clearly there is alot of volatility and the Gold Prices
are about to hit $2,000usd all over again.

Cineworld’s future comes with a Chinese twist. Tycoon Liu Zaiwang’s company Jangho Group snapped up a 5% stake in the UK cinema chain in August. It makes sense to take advantage of Cineworld’s depressed share price, down 71% this year, but Liu’s stake is still worth 43 million pounds and cinemas’ future after Covid-19 remains uncertain.

Cineworld is in a battle with landlords over rents as more people switch to streaming services. And Liu’s businesses in China are related to construction and health, not entertainment. Still, last year reports circulated that Cineworld’s main shareholder and Chief Executive Mooky Greidinger might want to take the business private. Liu’s punt may be more of a bet on that happening. You will see a RNS naming a major institutional investor that have been buying millions of Capita shares.
I forecast that soon will see published in the papers a positive broker rating for Capita Plc with a target price of 65p.
