RE: BIG NEWS -Plus £127Millions HUGE CONTRACTS AWARDED TO CAPITA21 Nov 2020 21:58
A much RESPECT to you too Club1967!!! We will all one day master the art of managing fear
across all walks of our lifes. When we have fear, we tend easely lose our focus and go into
an overdrive reaction and if this happens with investments are involved, it can turn into
a very expensive scenario. I'm very glad and happy that you've held on to your guns thanks
to us here : Eatstocks,dave_1, Regv, DIrective22 and others like them mentioned.
It's a learning process that I picked up while holding and still hold Cineworld shares.
With Cines I've seen my £40k investment going from being sitting with a decent paper profit to then back to be sitting with almost at one stage looking at only £10k worth of cine shares. Today, however, I'm sitting with a value of Cine shares at £27k and with a paper loss of £13k.
I've learned to have patience and not fearing seeing your investments going from being in blue to a sudden deep red. Ofcourse, it's very important to do plenty of research and analysis, but then you have to make that decision with in mind how much to invest initially and always have plenty cash sitting behind just in case you need to average your share price. Moreover, I also invested in Capita as an edge investment in case the Cineworld shares were going to the wall. I said to myself that if the worst was to come, Capita will drag me out of the potential loss that I could get from Cineworld which I now no longer fear as the worst has already passed and the Cines creditors /backers will save the day for all the shareholders and next week we should be well up.
See you all on Monday. Good Luck. Smile.(*__*).NoFear
