Brazil's Bolsonaro says he was right to question Chinese COVID – 19 vaccine
SAO PAULO, Jan 13 (Reuters) – Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro said on Wednesday he was right to criticize the credibility of a Chinese COVID-19 vaccine developed by Sinovac Biotech that posted disappointing efficacy results in local trials.

On Tuesday, researchers in Sao Paulo state announced that the Chinese vaccine was 50.4% effective at preventing symptomatic infections in a local trial – barely enough for regulatory approval and well below the rate announced last week. ...

Bolsonaro, a far-right former army captain, is a longstanding China hawk. He has repeatedly criticized the Sinovac shot, which was being late-stage tested by Sao Paulo's Butantan Institute, as untrustworthy. He previously said his government would not buy the Chinese vaccine but later relented as criticism of Brazil's vaccine rollout has grown.

Speaking to supporters outside his residence, Bolsonaro made light of Sinovac's trial results so far, saying he had been unfairly maligned for questioning the shot.

"This 50% is good, is it? All the (criticism) I got for my comments, and now they are seeing the truth. Four months of being lambasted because of the vaccine," he said.

Nonetheless, Bolsonaro said he had no role in greenlighting the Sinovac shot as it was up to federal health regulator Anvisa to decide on whether to approve it for use.

Last week, Brazil's government closed a deal with the Butantan Institute to buy up to 100 million doses of the Chinese vaccine. The government will receive an initial 46 million doses with another 54-million dose option later.

What I've read today in the News that the Chinese vaccine has been thrown out from the Brazilian vaccination program after their own scientists discovered that it was only 50% effective instead of the claimed 75% that the Chinese were saying that it was. Therefore, this would mean that the Chinese could be out of the covid19 international vaccination program because they cannot be trusted with their claims.

The last STOCK broker rating that I picked up for Capita was a HOLD with target price at 35p. This was issued last Friday and it does not worry me at all as with the ever so changing covid-19 pandemic scenario, just like Capita and other similar outsourcing businesses are limited at what they can do while having so many restrictions in place at one time.

The best part of all the gov social distancing propaganda is that they've gone along with the supermarkets taking
their views not to allow customers into their stores or even better banned them for refusing to wear a mask while
doing their in store shopping. I have been saying for a long time that the view that supermarkets took in the first lockdown
were always promoting the spread of the covid19 virus. During the first lockdown, the big four did not chose to enforce the gov mask wearing recommendations neither on their staff nor on their customers. This was a disaster waiting to happen. I've always wore a mask while shopping indoors and had to put with people giving the odd looks. Thank God, today they're more of me wearing a mask than the ignorant ones who are still not getting the message and not doing as told. Hopefully, we will have a bigger national debate on the same topic and expose all those who don't follow the law and put the pictures of their faces on the internet as it already happening today. Never mind their privacy as covid-idiot.s don't deserve it.
Hopefully soon we will be picking up all those short ars.ses green coffins as they start to fall of the Cine stock.

You're not allowed to publicly call yourself stupid. I would say that you have reflected over what happened and realized that there is much worse happening around you. I've been there in that situation especially when I touch some drink and I start calling every name under the stars only for the next day when the reality check kicks in and I start reflecting on my moans and bothers and I thank who ever has helped me to get to where I'm today. I still would like to make some changes here and there but I've go to be realistic. I do understand you and I wish you well and that you take control of the little things that bother you first and then deal with the big ones that bother you and work out a plan and see what you can do in the near future albeit within a covid restricted environment which might damper your efforts and therefore you will need a stronger mind and decisive input to cross that line that its holding you back and hopefully everything will fall in place and you'll have better days than bad one.Night night.NoFear

If you read my previous post, you can understand that Capita does not get a moment to breath before someone in the
media or some politician start taking hits at how Capita runs their business operations and therefore it will be difficult to say when exactly we will back to the 40s and then 50s plus. We can see very little advancements until the vaccinations start having an effect on the nations and we start seeing the number of people getting the covid vaccine going up by the million per week. Once we get those number spoken in the media day day out, you'll soon see the Capita share picking up a natural momentum based on the general stock markets sentiment in the UK, across Europe and the rest of the World too. Capita does not move with news of huge contracts probably because most of these will not be able to carried without implementing the social distancing and therefore slow down the running of the awarded contracts. Moreover, as time goes forward, I'm expecting by this Friday to see Capita climb back up to 42p and stay there till next Monday when further positive covid news from different parts of the UK and the World will continue to move capita share price estimating an average of 3p per week with reaching 48p by the 30th January 2021. From here on, it will depends on the same covid good news keeping coming in and we will see potentially by the end of February reaching 57p. Good Night
