Hold-Them-All Please Ya37
If I told you how I had almost lost my entire savings in Cineworld while going through a first and second lockdown with a much lower income to rely on and just because I listen to a friend who no clue about investing. Over the run of nearly 9 months I had to endure the possibility of having a major financial loss and major stress to deal with and being isolated from the rest of the community. But thank God, my food deliveries work kept me ticking over while I thought what to do with the Cineworld shares which frankly just like you I was prepared to walk away with some cash then no cash all.
However as my scree-name says it, I learned to master the art of fear and being in the red for almost five months no longer had any effect on me notwithstanding days and months of the negative news that the media papers kept publishing that Cine will go bust and bankrupt in matter of months. All that negative talk soon vanished as the world developed vaccines and governments and banks start helping out viable businesses that merit rescued and Cine just like other Cinemas companies got rescued. Nonetheless the risk of the world going back to pre-pandemic operational levels is far from our reach but most certainly we're all on the same trajectory whatever business it would be from Airlines,Train operators,Airports,Taxis, hair dressers,Cinemas,Restaurants,Hotels,Pubs, and ect.ect. So, my advice is to hold on and wait for your profit exit target and don't be fearful of looking at red and sometimes blue too and wanting to quickly cash and take a small profit. Moreover, last two week I had an average paper profit of £20k with Capita, but since last week it had gone down to almost £8k paper profit and did not worry at all as I know this is part and parcel of the share prices movements and better share price days are due for us tomorrow. I've got £76k invested at 39.8p and will buy more Capita if it drops to take advantage of any bad results if any at all. Anyhow, I must stress that nobody should invest all their money without keeping a good amount behind to fix a bad entry price. This is what happened to me in Cine. Originally bought Cine at 80.4p and had to rescue my bad entry with another purchase at 49p that still did not stop it going down to 15p. So, patience is the name of the game as we're living in very extra-ordinary times and we're not unique in this depressed scenarios some with more some with less financial difficulties. I'll be selling Cine at £1.20 even though the entire forum wants me for a longer journey. Sending you a BiG-HUG from sunny Scotland by the forest side. GLA. Simply.(*__*).NoFear
