Ratings agency Moody's says govt support for Pemex could hurt Mexico's credit rating28 Jul 2021 22:07
Can this report from Moody's reverse the sour relation that Harbour Energy investment venture recently encountered with the Mexican government involvement that gave the overall running of the Zama oil field exploration to Pemex? Yes it can. IMO, I certainly believe that a treath to their already falling junk credit rating status would be the last thing the want to have
not forgetting that they will eventually be having to respond to the pending legal action that will brought by Hbr and joint venture partners who have been done wrong by loosing the control of Zuma oil field to Pemex by way of protectionism favourism unfairly given by the Mexican government contrary to the previously agreed contract conditions.

MEXICO CITY, July 28 (Reuters) - Ratings agency Moody's on Wednesday said government help for Mexican state oil company Pemex, currently equivalent to around 1% of the country's gross domestic product (GDP), may weigh on Mexico's sovereign credit rating if Pemex needs further aid.
Moody's, which downgraded Pemex one notch to "Ba3" on Tuesday, said in a conference call with media that the government's support for Pemex will remain strong.
