Hi D E M,
Yes, it has recently - relisted and I have bought back in.
I was in Yamana for quite a few years the last time it was listed in London. It was a great company and I thought it was an excellent investment with a rising dividend and they just kept finding more and more gold, but there wasn't enough volume in London and so they de-listed from the London exchange. I didn't want to own foreign shares (on the TSX) so I sold the lot and felt sick doing it because I thought it was a great investment.
I found it odd that British fund managers wouldn't buy into a great company like this.
Kirkland Lake was another great company. I was in that one too when it was listed on the London exchange, but it de-listed for the same reason. When it de-listed, I sold. Kirkland Lake is now famous as a 50 bagger, so not only did I miss out, but so did the British fund managers - why didn't they buy what was obviously a great company, why was there no interest?
There is a definite anti-PM stocks bias with fund managers.
