Can an acquiring company buy shares on the open market once a formal bid has been made? If they can do they need to report it? I strongly suspect that once an offer has been made that its curtains regarding buying more shares... Can anyone advise ???

That Odey and JP have bigger ambitions than the board do? Can't see either one topping up for a small percentage gain with their cash tied up until September so with that in mind I suggest there is another player or players out there interested in making a bid. Time will tell but I think we might see a move later this week. That's why I am still buying... GLA
