Since I had any of these....situation rectified :)

Nudging back to the year low....cheap as chips. The way I look at it there is no FTSE...just companies. Some do better than others, reflected in their desirability by buyers, and the dividend the company generates.I nabbed a few today at 150, expecting, that like the hundreds of other shares on the go, they can go up...they can go down.

There was a sub-division of shares...for every one held, each shareholder now holds 4, ergo SP is1/4 of yesterdays closing price

I dont think so....traded these ages ago and had a nibble again...steady grower, nothing flash, just reliable.

Moving in to join me...lol

Seems a few might have overbought yesterday on the flying SP....coming back to reality and OML is once again sharing its fortune...down 1018 and 6.40 respectively. OML I reckon might kiss bottom at the 225 mark and would be worthwhile, esp. with a fair dividend, unlike the current situation with BBY. GLEN would also be worth keeping an eye on for an entry point...down 1.14% at 298.60

Been watching the movements of OML...seems to be tracking the fortunes of BBY....wonder if they are a major holder of BBY?

As rumoured....final divvy is out. Board expect to reinstate 2016....overall operating loss BUT..pension deficit has closed the gap. The drop in SP over the past few working days may well have taken the news into account and the resurgence of share value is the clever money moving in to reap long term benefits.

Have a way of being known prior to official statements. Analysts have been having a field day...£x million down on review by auditors...rumour mill has the divvy being scrapped....my entry at a tad under 231 was a bit early....another hour or so it was nudging rock bottom prices.....SPECSAVERS required to have a good keek at the graphs :) !!......So a merry journey north..

Of the 100 companies listed in the FTSE100.....96 took a hit.....bullion might be becoming the haven once again?

I only looked back over the year...as most if not all were hit 2008....plenty of time since then to sort out the things that had external affects on businesses, and by concentrating on the last year...it doesn't bode well for how management in here are performing. Post 2008 there seems to be an ingrained philosophy of stuff the investors, keep it ticking over and keep collecting salaries and bonuses and that seems to go across the board.

May last yr it was trading at 223...took a hit and fell to 93p by mid June....toddled along until end of March this yr and got to 142....been on a slow slide ever since then until it closed abt 120 last Friday...then it hits this bit of news. I see it as an over reaction to a disappointing rumour...but bear in mind it was on a slide anyway. One has to ask why the steady decline for the past 12 mths?
