Taking advantage of this downturn theme....buying at close to low...selling on minute profit and re-buying the next day. There seems to be a trend of dropping from previous close, and the best time to buy is on the second dip from open...wait for the rise until profit shows and repeat....each cycle allows shareholding to increase.

Seems we're running the same path....took some to catch the divvy, watched the fall and then the climb.....managed to get a bundle at 352ish, so at current levels/trend....quite happy to hold. Like Hereshopin, I played the "risky" stuff.....in the main, Glencore, a good earner, but of late it has been getting hammered, I suspect, by computerised daytrading...large volume buys/large volume sells....killed it a bit for Joe Public.

Rolled back...well lets see if it can crack 368 or more today....seems the day traders like a 4p swing...367.9 nearly then back to 363.30........now if they'd leave it alone for a day or two, it could change things for the better for all.

Scot_39 mentioned on Friday that the graph was looking to be levelling out. At current SP of 385.1 it does look like, on a view from 1 April, that the price is levelling out. I just hope that the ongoing drop from when it had the serious drop from 444 down to 399 is taken account of when is goes past ex div date on 2 Jun, otherwise the divvy is more or less taking care of the drop from 399 to current....which translates into we need a northbound trip to have any benefit from the divvy
