Totally agree with you Ken....and crashes do provide opportunity in fluctuations....but the markets can be messed about with , big time, and with no apparent justifications...Pete is champing at the bit with his GVC....it'll come good if he gives it time...Billy is laughing all the way to the bank if he's still holding his low entry tranches in Glenda...thats the example for you Billy...took a bit of time for Billy...but he's got a smashing core holding. I'm playing short term turnover, so my outlook is different...but guarded...I fall foul now and again simply through boredom playing the winning card...dont get bored...get busy...plenty more to do other than trading 24/7

took a few at 5725 on the basis of previous knowledge and current news....see they managed to get a top notch chappie on board their cancer research area....guy had fallen foul of inuendo about declaring/not declaring financial interests...AstraZen snapped him up....that and results on stuff they had in the pipeline...as you say, a good company....wonder when they go ex div lol
