MINERS: Copper and silver were both flying on friday...so that takes care of Fres and Glen....AAL and Billiton...a bit heavy duty for a quickie. Copper and silver need to take a hit to influence Glen and Fres.....FINANCE....BARC, RBS, LLOY, STAN.......really dont play any of them nowadays except LLOY when it was LOW 50's.....supermarkets....again havent been following them but past experience says give TSCO a wide berth....Morrisons has always seemed fair...but you need to have been following it to see what the trend is for it. INSURERS: Most are ok...so its down to personal knowledge again...I have been playing OMU of late, with a degree of success. The thing to keep uppermost in mind is change of ranges...you've seen it often enough with Glen...same can be said for all the others....set a loss target as well as a win target....win is fine....loss can lead to the development of rabbit in headlamp syndrome....brain freezes and just refuses to believe that THE BOUNCE will not come....by the time the brain kicks in to the reality...the damage is done and its then a long upill struggle. 0800 hrs tomorrow my eyes are on Glen, Fres, and OMU......if none are tasty...a quick looksee at the others....but not too long a looksee....I missed Glen last week when I dithered about should I or shouldnt I.....dont we all at some time :-)

I stick to the FTSE 100, the safer bets Pete. At end of days trading I order the 100 in best performance %age wise to worst....reason being the FTSE 100 is like a training circuit....the shorters or for whatever reason, each of the sectors seem to get lined up after being top dogs and quite a few then take a hit. Fridays close showed the miners were the favourite child, then a mix of the banks, the 3 main supermarkets and insurance.....Mondays open....again re-order the 100 immediately after open...but in reverse...see who are taking the hits first.....if its a miner, finance or supermarket, how hard a hit are they taking.....sit on the hands....let the trend develop...then in for a couple of P swing....collect a few quid and out.....then review......sounds simple eh.....lol

Son is getting interested in daytrading.....his opinion of deb is that Asley is waiting to pick it up for a song from admin....dump the iffy shops and renegotiate leases with landlords. Even with losing his current shareholding if it went to admin, he'd still come out of it smelling of roses....be interesting to see just how it develops and if the son has got the gift :-)

Its not March....we could all have done the mad March hares and bought a 10k holding of Deb for a laugh.....who needs laughs....get into VOD....well...maybe in a wee while when it turns a corner....but back to business. OMU almost guaranteed to fall back from its recent high of 130ish....looking for 121-123 entry....Glenda....there's something about 280 I like, but I'd settle for 292....subject to chart of course.....in and out for the quickies

A fallback to 123 -125...and I'll have some if that turns out to be the case :-)

You're looking for a 3 - 5% upswing......nearly dabbled myself when I had a looksee at 136....but thought I'd hold back for glenda....or omu if it falls through the floor... as it does :)

to be used in acquisitions ( cash plus shares) or repayemt of dividend in lieu of cash....thats what I'd be doing with them

CEO and Board are looking forward to a good 2019...hang in there kiddo....it'll come good
