Hard to imagine that after having got a signature on the Magna Carta a nation would allow its fate to be decided on the say so of one person, which would smack of dictatorship and not democracy. May is in serious trouble. The top dogs in the EU said two chances, there is unlikely to be a third. May has been tramping back and forth, tweaking her language, but no tweaks to her initial proposals, whatever they might be. Next move is no extension, just leave as you asked to do, date of exit being 29 March 2019. Should she get an extension, weird and wonderful strings will be attached...will we be told the full story. Strong possibility that she'll kick and kick the can until November, when action can again be taken to remove her...which does not resolve the dictaes of the majority of the population that made the choice for the UK to leave the Union. This is a farce turning into a pantomime, which will have an effect, but one that will be recoverable from, after all, big money always looks after its money.
