Just about the most realistic assessment of whats happening since I joined in on this board. Cut and paste repeats of garbage does nothing to promote interest in potential buyers...puts them right off. The scrip issue does not help, and to start comapny buy backs wouldnt resolve the situation much other than improve SP due to shortage/availability on the market, but that would not alter earnings/profit.... which is the lifes blood of divvy payments. Those who have had the opportunity to buy at these lows have done well, for future SP value and continuing divvy ( which might or might not become lower) CNA is the major player in the energy supply game... it has the foundations since its days of British Gas, a workforce that gets the job done, and despite all the recriminations in respect of Conn, it pays to remember that there is a full Board agreeing on policy, not a dictatorship. Roll on divvy day :)

On whats happening... despite shorting theee has been a persistent rise today....some steady buying pressure of 20k+ volumes, plus some greedy git spent a quarter mill £ at the 105+ mark and bought a few..... might just be today is a turning point in advance of ex div day approaching

Might be short lived, but looks like market is forcing a rise on the price

Sell: 105.90p | Buy: 106.00p

Very likely to break below 106 today.... going down faster now....£1 by this time next week

Need a miracle.... thats it broken below 107

You'll be ok by Fri 26 April...should be a £1 a pop by then....load up and wait for the startling recovery :)

Tend to disagree with that....current trading is a steady volume of 0.88 million...it is suddenly changing to more than 3 million and price drops... brolers are making commissions when the price drops and shorters hit their target....new short opened thereafter at lower value.... where will the brokers go...raise the price to attract new blood...0.88 million/commission..... or go with trade value of 3+ million to suit the shorters...... this can continue until either the company delists or the share price is wiped out.....

Only one listed now with holding above 0.5%, and thats Blackrock at 0.62%.... one has either closed or dropped below the 0.5% since I last checked.... but even so, still not enough to stop the forever drop in SP.

See it managed to get there.....wont be long now til its at 99p and some moaning faced posters will close their shorts...I've never seen a board that is so consistently ascribed to by so many down in the mouth writers. They'd be better off tossing their screens in the bin and give us some peace and quiet pmsl

Dont see it...I reckon its being allowed to rise, draw in fresh blood, sicken them off and hey presto, shorters win again...SP now ready to breach below the 115 mark, they might be kind and let it close a tad higher than previous close, which gives the impression a north move is underway....not yet methinks

Sits at 1.59 million with midprice at 115.80 then jumps to a volume of 6.98 million and reverts to 1.7 mill when price hits 113.72.... ratbags :)

Shell and the rest dont want it...or they would have made moves when it was 113 or less. On a happier note, nice to see it being allowed to rise a tad, and the shorters are still playing it...just not bleeding it to death.

Have 1.13% interest in shorting.....in laymans terms 7 million volume by ordinary punters today, versus 16 million short positions popping in and out every minute or two for a 0.2 - 0.4 pence swing....the sysem is geared to set the price the shorters want so that brokers can earn commissions on the trades...stuff Joe Public with there couple of £k trades....its a fair world...int it lol

40k at 1.1471...whoop dee doo..... must have money to burn. Shorters playing to a lesser degree this morning...normal volume 1.6 mill...shoters move in, volume jumps to 3.2 million until they make their 0.2p swing

Another late afternoon fallback...be lucky if it closes at 113.5 going by the daily routine of drop...drop...drop

For tomorrow then if the continuing fall follows its daily trend of shedding 1 - 2p a day....only 5 working weeks to go for theat 86p folks keep talking about..... wonder if Mike Ahley needs a cheap source of energy for all his business premises??

It is so obvious that the share price is being totally played with,....flat lines acrossvat the top end and bottom end throughout the day...never going above nor below....that has to be manipulation ! Being walked down a penny a day or thereabouts....verging on criminal behaviour towards the general public who hold these...time for the Stock Exchange to look at whats happening.

Get 2.59billion shares to vote against the board....if you think the board is at fault. Plan B...sell your shares and move on
