Sub 850 just proved irresistable

I'vebeen watching for sub 884 since last week.....looks like I might be joining you guys shortly.

Bought 3600 WIN @0.335 on 12 Jul '12, (grandsons birthday)...still have them in the core P/F, so doing ok with them. Taking a hiding with the funmun tho'. Need to borrow 10p off HICKS.....he's a goldminer in the Scottish Highlands, so he can afford the tap.

The core holdings are well up, thanks to DXNS and TCG(12p).......but the £4k funmun has taken a hiding....horrendously down, due to jumping ship on fast falls and not jumping ship soon enough (then watching the recovery like a newbie !!!!!)......probably take me about 12-18mths to recoup, but at least that's the winter months taken care of.

Getting too cautious in my twilight years....missed FRES @ 844.45 and missed this, this morning @ 102.8........need to take some more of my daring pills.

Just crunched some numbers......can buy previous holding I had in FRES at current level, use some of the LLOY to pay for them, and be left with a small holding of LLOY freebies.......greedy git...still holding back to sub £9

I think the major problem is the 7000 ceiling on the FTSE......that in combination with the rumour mongering that has started about increases in interest rates. What I've noticed since 2008 is that when the shakers are planning bad news, they start making suggestions well in advance of confirmation of the bad news. That has started, with interest rates rise....and she who must be obeyed has just tied up £50k for 3 years at ****ty interest rate...which jumped 0.2% just days after she signed on the dotted line. One of these days she'll listen (!)

It did crack t....not convinced its heading all the way north just yet....might be a rally today, but still see the sub £9 on the cards. The £9 as I thought did slightly break, but I did think it would go lower....still hanging back on re-entry

Wet dismal day here in the West....and FRES not looking a pretty picture either. Trend and sentiment...down...so I reckon SP in here will follow. LLOY ticking up, and I'll sit in there just now, as I reckon this will go sub £9 this week. That'll be the time to leave LLOY and get back in here. Lets see.

Fernie's safe.....nothing bothers me.....pulling his/her tail. Did sell the FRES and bought some LLOY, only to watch it sink, but its picked up again, and hoping the lows in here hang about until I can sell the LLOY and get a tickle in here again. Been watching the ups and downs of RRS, EMG, RDI, GLEN ( holding a few freebies in there), RDI and TW.....new builds for TW might help them, so worth keeping an eye on them. Apart from that, garden needs a pre winter tidy up, then get ready for Christmas.

Now if FERNIE goes into the naughty corner, I'll buy some FRES shares and drive the price back up !

Time for a quickie in/out of LLOY.....?? And no remarks/innuendo or I'll first foot ye wi some Andy Stewart CDs.....
