We've been waiting for this RNS for such a long time. We've secured another credible name to add to the list of great companies we're already working with for this test (Cytiva, Medusa). If the test wasn't moving ahead and they weren't confident, a manufacturing partner agreement wouldn't be in place. Perfect news going into the weekend and this is just the start!
Yes, our market cap is already generous and so people are casting doubts as to how much the SP can go up by. But did you read the RNS??? Millions of tests a month with a healthy margin. Then we have the water waste covid tests to follow. And I haven't even mentioned the oncology pipeline. And I know, I know this has been said many times, but we have investment from Ruane. Remember markets are forward looking and oncology alone is a multi-billion dollar market. The ridiculous amount of money this company can make from Covid will help accelerate their future pipeline.
Dare I say it?? It's a great time to be an Avacta shareholder.
Here we go..
Why has the price dropped? We got there quicker than expected. This news should have been priced in on Monday.. explain the logic of these Americans to me please?
Hi Davey,
I'm not in any way, shape or form trying to sew doubt. I bought back in this morning. I definitely believe in the plan. I wouldn't be here otherwise. However, the point of this board is to share relevant information and for that information to be discussed and then maybe credited or disproved. I hate how a few of these boards have now become positive news only or you're automatically a deramper. I understand some people have a specific agenda but not all of us do. With each investment you make you need to be constantly in the know, and personally I feel like this board has helped me out a lot. And that's why I am trying to contribute back.
The majority of us are here for the same reason. To make money. Being able to evaluate the positives and negatives without being emotional attached is a must. So please don't shoot anybody down for bringing up topics that aren't always positive. Good luck to everybody! Looks like we might be in for a good day.
Okay thanks, that's rather pathetic if true. I'll look into it further. It's relevant because they're the directors of this company. Lol.
Before I start, I want to say this is NOT a deramp so calm down. I just read on Twitter that our chairman and CEO were both co-founders of SGYP. It appears SGYP went bankrupt a couple of years ago. Anybody have any idea what went wrong there?
Had a buy order at 215 which obviously hasn't been filled. Should have taken at 220. Looks like a great entry point!! Good luck to everybody that picked some up around that price.
But it's cheaper than it was yesterday even with the great RNS?
"sold some at 291 and the rest at 268.5". Lol
He asked the question so I explained my strategy. Yes, being out of a share overnight means you could always end up missing out on some great gains. But each to their own. I'm pretty sure I will be back in here and that too at a price I'm happy with. Thanks.
No, I don't think it will be easy to buy them after the announcement. I plan to get back in between tomorrow and Thursday. I sold my entire holding last Friday; some at 2.91 and the rest at 2.685. The plan is to always get back in cheaper and I'm going to be in well before the announcement (fingers crossed).
My point was simply that I think the record date will be set ahead by a week or two. That's just my own opinion after reading the RNS. Good luck.
They said the record date would be set forward. Midnight the same day is hardly forward. Surely they'd want to give people a week or two to get in and build the share price up before the spin-off. Just my thoughts.
5.60 now in the US. The price action over there is much more drastic. If we follow them who knows where we may end up.
Can't get a quote to buy now. Hm
