Just looking at the pictures on Twitter.
It's only a few hundred yards inland by the looks of it, and virtually at sea level (albeit from one photo) - I found this surprising tbh. The SAF coast lines are predicted to rise less than Asia for example but something to be wary of.
Put the electrolyte up on the first floor perhaps.
@Pdub
My original statement:
The company could make a profit in H2 which will be great for sentiment, but I personally pay no attention to 'expert' views on Vanadium price predictions - it's so volatile, could drop to 30 as easily as go above 45 in my opinion.
I chose my words carefully, the company 'could' make a profit. The Vanadium price is unpredictable, hence why nobody can be certain that H2 will be profitable. I stand by my comment that to try and say what the average V price will be futuristically is pure guesswork. The experts have proved this in recent years.
You have every right to disagree with me, I welcome healthy debate, but your comment 'I know we are all frustrated with the share price but let’s not start making things up' was rude and unnecessary. I made nothing up, I merely stated that a return to profit will help sentiment but a H2 profit could not be fully guaranteed with the sale price and costs so close together.
Pdub,
It is a forum and I will put forward my opinion, thank you very much. My comment that you picked up on (the Vanadium price could as easily be 30 o 45) is based on its volatile history and the significance of profits in H2, yay or nay. Price history and incorrect predictions over recent years from the experts certainly count as hard evidence in my book.
I admire your uber positivity around BMN, how you stand up to trolls - I know you've met Fortune etc etc and good for you - but how dare you try and silence a shareholder of 4 years. I don't remember you silencing Richken predicting £9 a share early in 2019 or Ophidian for his rogue politically incorrect OT comments.
I'm livid with your response.
It's a portfolio killer, for sure. I've stopped buying until they prove they can maintain and expand production. I thought the interview was good (and upbeat) but nothing new yet.
There's only so much PI money to go around and it sure isn't here at the moment. The company could make a profit in H2 which will be great for sentiment, but I personally pay no attention to 'expert' views on Vanadium price predictions - it's so volatile, could drop to 30 as easily as go above 45 in my opinion.
Matt's excellent, the only AIM interviewer I value. He's a shrewd guy and does his DD in preparation. I thought Fortune did very well and seemed upbeat.
Like others have said before me; I would like to hear the BE side from Mikhail.
Well said Sanchez, the disappearance of Mikhail from the public eye is most unexpected - I do wonder if him and FM have fallen out.
Anyway; you're right about the PR opportunities. Lithium fires are the boomerang that comes round faster and faster; BMN has the opportunity to be smashing doors down about VRFB safety - but what does the world get? The occasional tweet from Vanitec with 12 likes on it.
rmkuro.
Welcome Sir; if you are indeed investing for the long term, then I expect you will do extremely well from a 13.5p entrance.
Good luck and look forward to hearing from you over the next 5 years or more.
Taken from 'The Faversham eye' atricle; 'The game was rigged from the start.'
Kent Fire and Rescue, the Health and Safety Executive and Swale Borough Council all have to approve a new battery safety management plan. This may well be impossible. There have been hundreds of fires worldwide involving lithium-ion batteries. No one has ever built a lithium-ion battery farm on this scale before. If it gets a grip, which it could do long before the Fire Brigade arrives, it will burn for days, with a catastrophic loss of life and destruction to the nearby area. Solar battery farms should only be built where it is dry. Cleve Hill is a flood plain. The current outline battery safety plan is woefully inadequate, a hastily cobbled together cut and paste from other work, which fails to even acknowledge many of the key issues which will most concern Kent Fire and Rescue and the HSE. Letting it burn out is not an option as this would mean evacuating tens of thousands of people. The plan has to cover delivery of the batteries, the possibility of fire during construction and then the management of the site. Relationships here are not good, given the developer’s past behaviour. Wirsol constantly claimed in the media (supported by Friends of the Earth) that Kent Fire and Rescue was happy with their safety plan. This was untrue. Kent Fire and Rescue was never formally approached. All they ever said was they would look at the plan only if and when Cleve Hill got the green light. The developers knew this was the case, but told the lie anyway. Wirsol will also have problems convincing the HSE they are a competent constructor. Wirsol sold nineteen of their solar farms to a company called Toucan Energy, which sells electricity to local authorities. So far, there have been two serious incidents, where there was a serious threat to life, prompting reports what are known as RIDDOR reports to the HSE (Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations). Toucan has submitted a claim, which comes to court in October, blaming Wirsol for these incidents (covered in Faversham Eye 9 and available on our website).

How it went down in Blue collar Layman's terms:
The man: Let's stop this krap coming in from abroad; it comes out the ground - we probably got some out West.
Investigation: Vee have nutting
The man: Alright, keep the ships rolling in - for now.........
Ninvestor: Hope BMN bump the price up 15% for your cheek, you naughty Yankee boys.
THE END
This share is not dead, but outside of 100 or so people here and a few pockets elsewhere nobody gives a shiz about it. That's what 2 and a half years of falling share prices do to investor sentiment I'm afraid.
It will be back, but the market is sick of hearing what Bushveld might do and wants to see the walk walked.
Do I believe they'll produce 5000mTV at some point? Yes.
Do I believe it'll be when they predict? Not necessarily.
Serious patience required, but by the middle of the decade (which isn't really that far away) I think our patience will have been rewarded.
Yeah, I do wonder if we are cursed some days.
We are just going to have to do things the other way around here, the MM's will rerate this themselves when BMN starts reporting decent profits again; and they will make a packet doing so on the spread.
Good entry point this, surely?!
I'm not topping up again though personally, already over-exposed.
Cindercone; well done that sounds good. Hopefully the Bushveld Energy side being RNS'd separately is a sign they're making their product easier to digest, for current and potential investors. Also, could be that there is more meat on the bones before this year is out.
The balance is good as long as it's holders (who have every right to question) and not pure trolling.
I probably tick up more posts from Sanchez than anyone else at the moment, I never used to in the days he'd slice and dice anyone with a bad word to say.
One by one we're becoming neutrals, willing the company to succeed - but not putting our hands in our pockets for one penny more until they start to show a bit more interest in our welfare.
I think this will be on alot of PI watchlists BenAlder. Why buy today though, when you'll likely get them for less tomorrow. Human nature isn't it? Most PI's would rather pay 16p when it's heading North than 12p and possibly be underwater for 6 months. The company has to get it's head down and make some decent money in H2 which I believe it will.
Getting the electrolyte plant done and for the love of God some sort of BE contract signed will help the biggest problem of our profits being totally tied to the Vanadium price, therefore alleviating risk and pulling in more punters.
Many including myself have criticised the company communication, so today was very welcome. It was just an "we're alive and well" update but pleased to read it anyway. After various bits of bad news and atrocious SP performance; a period of neutral balance will do me until groundbreaking news next arrives to get this going again. GLA.
Hi Sanchez.
I wonder if those at the top are losing interest in it personally. I remember a 'we know of no reason' RNS around the time they did the Vanchem deal when the SP was in the 20's, doubt they'd bother with that now if it went to single figures.
Fortune's a fairly young man by the look of it - and this has taken a fair chunk of time out of his life - maybe they just don't care and if a cheap buyout comes along then so be it.
Mikhail is a ghost, maybe they've fallen out behind the scenes.
I hope all of the above is way off the mark and we all get rich, but I'm not so sure anymore.
