Apologies if anyone has previously posted this but there seems to be a lot more detail here on the AVA6000 trials...https://www.clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT04969835?term=avacta&recrs=ab&cond=cancer&draw=2&rank=1
I've just noticed that FTI Consulting represents Novacyt as well as Avacta (I use the term represent in the loosest possible way as the i in FTI could actually stand for inert). Does this seem a little strange? If FT-Inert ever open the door to a corridor on power and influence, who do they bat for?
interesting tweet: https://twitter.com/sensetalka/status/1422503795053969408
Never had a single acknowledgement from multiple mails. Good luck, AgentB, we must keep trying. You can direct a mail to the relevant individual(s) for AVCT - I think it's Simon Conway or Stephanie Cuthbert.
That tweet is a bit left field. Never saw that coming. Unless Colin has wrapped the old govt machines in cling film and faked the arrival (not beyond ODX given the Tesla gaff) this surely has to mean someone is going to get some good news. FTI Consulting is interesting in this Govt impasse. The company is unbelievably well connected and a master of opening doors and bringing parties together - FTI can't just be sat on their a**es doing nothing - that would be totally illogical given the long list of awards the business boasts - maybe just maybe the painful silence we've endured is hard work and progress not an LFT launch that can't turn a head.
I think the switch from Yellow Jersey to FTI was quite well debated at the time, Bella. I thought it was a positive move but it hasn't necessarily played out like that. I've written to FTI on several occasions but am yet to get a reply. They also still use https://www.zymecommunications.com/ for trade stuff.
You might be right, Ndn, I've done as much homework as I can but I'm not an expert in science. I invested based on logic but logic doesn't always triumph. I'm aware of the marketing element of AVCT and that has been terribly underwhelming unless conversations are advanced behind closed doors. Possible. Unlikely. Maybe.
Agent B's post strikes a chord. I've spent 30 years working in media, less so in recent times but I still have copy in the nationals every week. There is no problem with our product, but there appears to be an issue with our voice. I can't find any interest in AVCT and I've pushed it out across so many titles. I hope Deeks' Tweet is the opening of the door we deserve, and I'm confident there will be an RNS tomorrow, where the red dot lands is unsure. I hope it is AVCT - I'm sat on losses and hold around 150,000 shares - but if isn't tomorrow and others celebrate, I remain confident the company will achieve its potential. I would add that if we don't see movement soon, it might be a useful tactical move to consider more aggressive promotion. We need to set the agenda as the market is clearly very crowded with lesser products. We're in a good position, all to play for, patience the key but let's get our story heard.
Are the airports taking control of the testing, not the airlines?

We are very excited by the potential of this high quality SARS-CoV-2 rapid antigen test and the interest that we have received for it from potential commercial partners, distributors and end users. We are looking forward to receiving confirmation of the registration from MHRA in the coming days allowing the Group to immediately place the test on the market.
Almost two months since this was stated in an RNS.
With this in mind it is understandable why the SP has dipped. Couple that with a lack of Avacta being on ANY news agendas it points to us (despite performance) being another one of the many tests available.
BUT there feels like a countdown. July 15th when the first test is available. Millions being produced in the interim? They must be going somewhere.
I don't think there's anything to announce so well below £2. We should have some competitive advantage in LFTs but it would appear we're not at the top table in any territory - I can't see anything to suggest we're on many agendas and about to sign a big deal. Shocking really given the quality of what we have. Unless Al can employ an influencer with great connections and an amazing phone book this is potentially looking like a long wait for cancer treatments to come fruition. Lord knows what FTI are consulting on.
Released today but based on work conducted last year 'pre Delta'.

Andrew Marr revealing what we all know... you can't trust Innova!

We could never learn bravery or patience if there were only joy in the world although my diet of daily misery is beginning to taste like gruel.
I seek solace in what's coming tomorrow... a big jar of strawberry conserve.
At least it's out there. I will order some for the office to see the fabled 'best lft' but forgive me for not getting excited. It feels like buying a ticket to watch Cantona play for Accrington. Bit of a shambles really. Such is its performance we shouldnt be able to access it and the fact we can is of concern.
