How many people listened to me?6 Nov 2018 23:05

I've told about ten to twenty people about my involvement in BMN. All of those that I encouraged to invest - haven't. The only two that did found out more casually from me what I was up to - they asked if I recommended that they dip in. which they did. Both up around 40%.
I've worked a lot in TV/Web/Video advertising and it's one of those things. You really can't simply persuade people to buy into an idea with words alone. (well you can, but the success rate is very low) They need to see a demonstration of value and then want that themselves. (That value could be in many forms)
The truth is that AIM is a casino. MMs wildly manipulate. Putting all ones eggs in one basket is foolish. Usually.
But as we know, this is no ordinary AIM share. (In fact, that should be the TBP slogan)
But why then should I bother to tell people about BMN? Is it my job to convince them? Personally, when I try to convince somebody and they don't listen, I'll get mad: and then go off and prove them wrong. Which is what I'm going. I showed somebody the SP today and what did he say to me?
Him, "Time to sell"
Me, "No it's not, I'm going sell when it's £4."
My banking friend yesterday, "Make sure you sell this time, don't repeat what you did with GKP."
Me, "No! this is a 2 to 3 year hold!"
Some people just won't listen. And fair play to them. I wouldn't listen to me either. Not until I'm driving around in an Aston Martin. But then it'll be too late.
