Seadoc Thats your opinion and and you are welcome to it, but I beg to differ, you don’t know my financial position, or my portfolio, or for that matter my average in ukog, there are many factors to be considered, for each and every individual holding ukog shares, as whether they should sell or hold, or indeed buy more and my reference to middle ground is regarding the posters on here, going from them that say 2p 5p next week to the posters that are predicting instant demise, there has to be a middle ground there...so hypothetically I have just run over your rabbit in the headlights.

I agree with Skwizz there are the 2 extremes it is hard to find the middle ground, on saying that I have been invested here , well over 2 years. I am certainly not happy with the way things have progressed, over that time period, and do at times vent my displeasure on different aspects of my investment in ukog, on this board, I am clinging onto the forlorn hope that this will at some time reach 1p or there about, I won’t be selling to try and salvage, its going in the bottom drawer, I am under no illusions on where I stand, and all this 2p or 5p next week or year is disgraceful, as is those predicting bankruptcy and delisting, no one knows until we get some proper figures. It is also annoying, when the rose tinted glasses brigade keep telling people if they are not happy sell up, who are they to tell any investors to sell? well I for one won’t be selling, and will continue to have a moan when I feel it is justified, as on the other side of the coin, will sing there praises if and when things start to improve.

Ocelot...I agree but completely different context, HHIAN2 states, Many here say they are invested but I have to wonder if true as many sound like they selling cars and at same time telling customers the engines feked, So in essence is he recommending that if you ended up with a dodgy car would you tell prospective buyers it was fine just to get you money back? HHIAN2...If I were selling a used car and the engine was fecked or had any problems, I would point out to any prospective buyers, and that would reflect in the price, wouldn’t you?

You were in the same League as DHC & FOTH how many did you rope in with your constant ramping.
The pound party and the pound party crew were really despicable, post after post, day in day out,some were at show rooms and had picked new motors, others had ordered yachts along with Rolex watches and Gucci handbags and extravagant holidays, anyone that doubted, or even asked a question, DHC was on their case, you were shorter firstly, then a swampy or nimby, if that didn’t fit you were a troll with an agenda do not reply to them let them play to an empty big top.Some of the major rampers, DHC, FOTH and Heid had gathered a cult like following on LSE and Twatter, I wonder how many gullible investors were dragged in on the hype, from the highs of 8p plus to the lowly sp of around 0.30p that we are rejoicing in now.Fortunately these extremist rampers have left for pastures new and can be still seen plying their trade on other B boards.DHC and co pumped the living daylights out of this share for about 2 years and I mean every single day, post after post, then suddenly sold out, and started pointing out the obvious, which they failed to see for that period of time, then had the audacity to come back deramp, shocking!

Just a bit of trivia on size of oil field...The British oil company had to do a lot of appraisal drilling before it realised it had made the most momentous strike: a huge reservoir of crude oil covering 50 square miles that would eventually be known as the Forties field.

Global oil producers are scrambling to secure a supply cut deal to counter an unprecedented drop in demand triggered by the coronavirus pandemic.  A deal between OPEC and other producers like Russia makes little difference because of the severity of the drop in demand.  Market analysis expects to see a demand drop of ~25 to 35 million barrels per day in April.Lower prices will filter through into reduced output much faster than normal, as the industry slashes new well drilling and completions and is forced to choke back or shutoff existing wells. Unless the world economy emerges from the coronavirus-induced shutdown quickly, oil prices will fall further, forcing the rebalancing of production to match lower consumption.

Jimmcdee... From your post There has been more than one occasion where I have hovered over the sell button, but held back after reading some of his comments...I will bet there is many an investor in the same boat...And wishing they had never heard of FOTH and the ramp gang, and did indeed hit the sell button, at a much higher sp than today’s.

Strange no one wants to comment on a FOTH post, a good number on here have been hanging on his every word for the past 2 or 3 years, giving him an Idol like status, praising his every post, funny how things change...he is not toeing the party line...no comment from party members.

In a talk he gave last week at the Society of Petroleum Engineers Offshore Europe conference in Aberdeen, BP CEO Bob Dudley said his company has cut production costs by half in the North Sea.
“This focus on standardization, simplification and discipline on cost has contributed to our average production costs in the North Sea coming down from a peak of over $30 a barrel in 2014, to less than $15 a barrel today. Heading towards 2020, with all our major new developments coming into production, we expect that to come down below $12 a barrel in the North Sea,” the BP chief executive said. I can’t speak for BP whether they managed to get below $12 a barrel, but the company I work for own 7 established assets in the north sea and in year 2019/2020 production cost for the different assets ranged from $13 to $22 a barrel depending if drilling were onboard.

Due to the coronavirus and the low price of oil many oil companies are running with skeleton crews, cancelling non essential work scopes to reduce spending, including a freeze or cuts to directors’ salaries and bonuses, with the prospect of a cut in dividends.

Sujood...I have been invested here for several years have a decent holding with a low average, I don’t post much on here as have no need to, I don’t know much about gold mining, but there are some very well researched posters on here, that keep us all informed, this is without a doubt my best AIM investment...As I have come across you on other boards and have seen your posting style, GGP doesn’t need your baseless ramping with random sp predictions pulled out of thin air, we are doing very nicely without it.

Royoboy, spot on about this guy, must have gotten in at the bottom, pumping hard for a trade, not needed here, this will make substantial gains when the time is right.
