I don’t want to compare apples with oranges, but while working on several North sea platforms I have witnessed the flair going so hard that the whole rig shakes, and on occasion we have been called to muster, that being said when 80 to around 180 miles in an Easterly to North Easterly direction from Aberdeen when on any of the platforms if you look along the horizon there are literally hundreds of massive flairs burning 24/7, why don’t the nimbys or tree huggers take on the big boys? because they would get chased out of court...

Well I have been invested here for well over 2 years and have seen the rampers and the derampers come and go, and as far as I can see Penguins deals with facts and figures, which he leaves open to debate with all other posters, I am Invested and still under water, but I would sooner read penguins factual or debatable posts than the constant drivel posted by the likes of Troll2 and Tymers...think about it and read the posting history and decide for your self...

Yes Tymers a downright lier, It is one thing ramping a share that you actually believe in yourself and is a good investment how ever wrong you are, which I thought was the case with you, always optimistic and full of confidence every post a strong buy, then when all your predictions have been completely and I repeat completely wrong (8p by last Christmas then working your way down, now at 1p I think) and when you are cornered like a ramping rat, you come out with, in your own words (managing.my investment when appropriate to achieve free float) so what you are now saying is you have been selling whilst telling others to buy... I have never seen you recommended to sell, so it is do as I say not do as I do...so you can manage your own investments to achieve free float ???

Shutting in wells for any reason has a risk of diminished flow when the wells are restarted. The entire flow system from the formation to the off-take mechanism should be considered. Some systems, such as high-pressure dry gas, may accept a simple valve closure as a shut-in without much restart risk, but other wells may be much more sensitive. The restart risk rises when produced fluids in the wellbore separate and gas pressure builds sufficiently to push the wellbore liquids back into the producing formations. Depressuring a static liquid column in the wellbore can result in organic precipitates, sludges, and emulsions with components such as CO2 and iron-rich waters acting as catalysts for creating or stabilizing the emulsion products. These reactions are problematic when confined to a static column, but the risk of creating flow-blocking mechanisms rises sharply if the liquids enter the matrix and mix with connate fluids. The following discussion focuses on well shut in and startup results encountered in several basins around the world, both onshore and offshore, and highlights methods of estimating risk based on well and produced fluid characteristics.
