The thing is as I have come to learn over the years, SS doesn’t care if he finds oil or not, as long as he has a story to tell that keeps him in employment and the lifestyle he is accustomed to, this story and accompanying lifestyle has to date cost the ordinary investor millions over all, I predict new stories and more millions, there will be some trader’s that will get in and out others will be caught, me I am in no hurry and will try and sell on the spikes and buy on the dips, I am not very good at this and have only been successful twice in 5 years, but I won’t be selling at a loss, bottom drawer if nessary, I have been called a naysayer over the years but let’s face it there’s nothing to yasay about…

I want ukog to do well as a small oiler, and would be happy if the water injection stabilised production and in turn more wells drilled at Horse Hill, but that’s not enough for our story telling CEO, he has to keep the bigger fairytale going to keep the placings and dilution going, which also guarantees his future employment and continued salary, he is in no rush why would he, just keep the story going…

Kwasi Kwarteng said it was 'completely insane' for Britain to turn its back on North Sea oil and gas, in his most robust defence yet of the UK's energy industry. 
The Business Secretary said boosting native oil and gas reserves would weaken 'Putin's malign grip on the West' in the wake of the Kremlin's assault on Ukraine. For years, environmental campaigners have been urging the Government to slash funding and block new projects. But Kwarteng added that more investment is needed, even as Britain plans its long-term switch to cheaper and cleaner renewable power. His rallying call came as the GMB Union urged him to consider ring-fencing 15 per cent of North Sea gas production to create a closed domestic market. This gas would only be available to British companies, a move the union claims could drive down prices…
