RE: Positive price projections for Spodumene27 Feb 2021 10:48
I'm quite sure you have severely miscalculated Tony. Li20 and spodumene are two different things. The 285,900t Li2O content is the amount of pure lithium in the ground, which is worth thousands per tonne. We will be producing and selling spodumene ore. The latest presentation says we will produce 175,000 tonnes of spodumene ore per year for 11 years (though, the total resource has doubled since they last updated this calculation and could double again for all we know). So based on the most recent presentation, that would be roughly $600 x 175,000 = £105,000,000 of revenue per year for 11 years. At the expected 48% rate of return, that's around £50m in profit per year for 11 years.
I could of course be completely wrong here so if anyone wants to correct me they are welcome.
