Same here with Halifax. Very good if they stay there.. Looks like you can hold but not add..
I also use Halifax but received no such notification of transfer out of ISA - is there more than 1 type of ISA?
I've been here since fastnet. Recently been topping up to a now large position 40g or so. I was very disappointed that every time the SP starts to go somewhere they seem to buy another company and pay through the nose. However, I recently watched a long interview/explanation on yt and have concluded that they really do know what they are doing. They have also managed to cut costs on their latest acquisition and moved part of that operation to Ireland. High hopes for 2022.
Ok I think we need to stop arguing and start acting. Form a new 5% entity and call a vote to get rid of these fools. Just over 1 million required at current mcap. Where is Dana and that million's worth holder who used to post here? How hard can this be - just need to have a general meeting of our own over the next 3 weeks and get this done. My own Ltd company is sitting doing nothing since ir35 and has trading permit, could even use that. The shipyards need to be sold. Actually all of it does.
Is there any legal means for us all to get together as a single entity with more than 5% so we can call a resolution for jw to be replaced? Where is Danawinner? He has a lot to answer for, handing the company over to this man. He bought those shipyards with our capital, without shareholder consultation and on a wing and a prayer that Bojo would come up with the goods. There are also major security issues with basing major royal navy projects in NI.
Thanks for this assessment of the GM. Long story short - they will just keep grinding on with the odd underwhelming contract thrown their way. Frankly the only reason I hang on to my remainder is to choose which tax year to run the loss in.
I sold my remaining isa holding position in this today. Closed all spreadbets at last placing. Have a few grand's worth left in my non-isa account. Is there any point in staying in based on today's GM? There needs to be a massive defence contract to shift this now - but all of BJ's other big plans came to nothing; most recently the bridge to NI.. This is now alarmingly like that old fastjet share fuelled by goodwill investors who don't understand placings and cash burn - it's effectively insolvent with placing life support while that awful man pays himself a million a year. Theres plenty of other shares raring to go right now- notably the tanker stocks. Keen to hear why I should hold this now..
He was the guy who put JW there - is he still a shareholder? Maybe he can help get rid. The shipyards are a disaster and need to be sold. Actually everything should be sold before jw burns through what's left. Everyone's shareholding has been turned into a charity donation while he pays himself a million per year. Also wondering what happened to that huge holder who used to post here - he had a millions worth or so... poor guy..
Hi, on the subject of who the trolls really are - the penny dropped for me when I saw how incredibly quick one of the main ones posted the garbled SunTrust story from an obscure Nigerian website. I have a reasonable position here and actually think its an appalling company but i barely find the time to post more than a few times a year. How could they be onto it so fast.. Am pretty sure it's a psychological operation by a spread betting firm to drive people out of their positions. If an nnpc payment turns up they will be hit v hard. I doubt it's ig though. A big firm like that actually needs big winners to encourage more punters. However interesting that's it's v difficult to open a position in sle with them, some bs about the market not supporting the trade...
My take on that strange reassurance, about the going concern if the repayments stop, is that they are referring to the hypothetical possibility that SunTrust succeed in their litigation. Personally I think San Leon will come through that one.
Yup we seem to be losing 5% a day. Am amazed Tosca kept fanning there as presumably they want to sell their stake at some point and it would need to look like a bona fide outfit for that to even be possible. I don't know why sid doesn't put all this energy into getting the fca to do something about fanning. I think he was basically running a pretend oil company in Poland and knew there was no substance to it for a long time before it was admitted.
Definitely hotting up with this large volume. I have been in and out of this share for 10 years - frankly wished I had sold out last summer before the financing that never came... But - I have never owned a share that moves like infa when it moves!
I am certainly intrigued by this development. Diamondstar - any thoughts on what to make of this?
Good points, as I understand it the new director has a background in regulatory affairs of Nasdaq listed companies, so perhaps we will get there. I am hanging in based on the rather crude logic that Cathal Friel, who funded most of this at 30p, wants his money back from the fastnet losses, as do I.
Setanta amongst your good points I also homed in on the contractors putting up 1.1m guaranteed. Am horrified about the SP but this is very significant and indicates the project can almost certainly be monetised/sold when the FEED is satisfactorily completed. It was my worry that we were just on a road to more of the same, especially if the whole thing was funded by a placing or more likely an attempt at one.
The trouble is people are sick to death of this share. I think it's been 3 times in a row it starts to rally and then we are hit with a dilution. It will take more than ever to get the SP moving again.
Quite right Red, in the end all the deramping may have only served to make even more money for those who doubled up at the bottom. Everything appears to be lining up now and Tosca' s input to this appears benign for other shareholders - they have actually gone out of their way to avoid taking this private or writing this off. My only concern is that this intervention took place because yet again no money showed up - is that not the case? Albeit there will apparently be separate loan note income from Jan onwards.
I am sure we have all noticed - Every Time the SP starts to climb this is when there is either a fund raise or this huge share printing for the directors. Are they actively trying to suppress the sp?
I have been here since fastnet. I doubled up when it turned into Amryt. The consolation is that Cathal Friel got the whole thing going with his initial position at around 30p a share. He put in what must surely be a large part of his remaining personal wealth after fastnet so he obviously thinks it's a sure thing. Realistically it may be yet another year before it really starts to move plus there is a lot if distrust that they may be another fund raise.
B7 - San Leon even used to have a full time PR representative on their staff. Sadly she died of a rather rare illness a few years back. That's how I first heard of this company of all things as I went to school with her. It looks like they outsourced it after that. Not sure its all that significant though.
