Aye, might be worth the wait Sefton. I am assuming that you have reservations about management?
Would you be happy with the current s**tshow? I doubt it.
'The flexibility around which party will bear the investment into CNG trailers is also a key feature of this agreement as it potentially shields Predator from this capital-intensive part of the business value chain'
Flexibility is good, a rare commodity on this board. I flagged up the colossal cost of CNG tankers several months ago: either leased or bought.
I also remain of the opinion that Rabat will insist on a military escort. Personally I would want a light AFV and a brick split between two landys but that is a matter of opinion. That would add a few thousand per 24hrs.
They do not want bombs driving around the place, they would make one hell of an IED. Don't forget they required a mil escort for under 5kg's of high explosive and a small barrel of black powder!!
CCC I wish you luck, your post was neither infantile or sub-literate so I welcome it.
Speculation requires insight, intelligence and experience: if you have those characteristics your chance of success is good.
I was VERY interested in this share but changed my mind and moved to a watching position. Not averse to entering but happy with my placing calls and scepticism re testing, geopolitics and the reality of operating in these areas.
Good effort Ford but:
1/ The MEG is rarely mentioned given the 12 yr Southbound contract.
2/ If Rabat required appraised gas discoveries in the short term why has there been two complete failures to test? Could they have facilitated these processes so that we could have had results to study by now?
3/ Just a feeling but CNG seems a slow burner, potentially profitable in the medium term given investment in the upstream, downstream sales and regulatory ie EIS constraints.
Funny old game.
CCC did PRD have any choice?
Noun
Utter nerve; effrontery.
Nearly arrogant courage; utter audacity, effrontery or impudence; supreme self-confidence; exaggerated self-opinion
But many here are happy about the share award? Is this normal behaviour?
The testing calamity was very disappointing, twice. I was genuinely looking forward to learning about unconventional gas from the testing reports. When will the testing be complete and the results issued?
It's b****y awful, even poor old Bob is a bit weepy.
Good point 1965
What is the threshold value of shares to buy in order not to be chippy?
Diss
The characters and wholly dysfunctional story both fascinates and is a valuable learning tool.
Not having money on the table alleviates confirmation bias and promotes objectivity. Bob and others imo are being shepherded, expertly.
Chislehurst I absolutely agree with your 'stubbornness' point but that 'quality' will not help shareholders to liberate value. Intellectual and managerial flexibility are the priority requirements.
I remain firmly on the fence and continue to watch and learn.
Bob, stubbornness is futile without intelligence to back it up. I will wager that you have voted the same way all your life even when Michael Foot and that other miserable Commie swine Corbyn was in charge.
Buffoon!
Even after all of the placings, procedural fess ups and sliminess you still love PG! Read Jimmy's post: he is the ONLY poster who is both knowledgable and honest: the others say one thing and trade like mad against the planks.
Yes I probably do thank you patch, by developing a rational scepticism towards all things mini E and P. There IS money to be made but it is extremely difficult.
Patch this is not for you, read any E and P prospectus and you will see a comprehensive statement of risks. It is time to sub contract more work and planning out.
I suppose the only positive is the demise of Kissinger, only the good die young...
Ah, s*x panther haha
One of the greatest comedy films ever.
Aye, spot of youth and vigour might help, couple of graduates with ten years say. One for regulatory and compliance and the other on logistics and contracts.
I don't know about the present board but speaking French and Arabic would be superb, really oiling the wheels.
Patch do you not think that the 'testing' rns is weighing the SP down by itself? That sceptics like me have any influence?
I only do this out of a fascination for risk and uncertainty, not O and G but a lifetime in a complex and occasionally high risk environment.
Firstly, I speculated a probability of technical difficulties or ambiguous results.
WRONG! NOTHING HAPPENED AT ALL, for the second time.
PG urgently needs a consulting firm with special reference to ordinances and regulation in my view.
In addition anyone else dismayed by the sands dimensions? One for Jimmy, an honest chap.
So that is two lengthy periods spaffing money onto the desert for nothing. At least he has been clear about the licence extensions I suppose.
Probably drift down to 6 or 7p, one for the T/A types.
That's hilarious Stokey, you posit that a caveat exists but you will refrain from explaining what it might be until it has already happened.
Straight from Brian Cohen in 'The Life of Brian' trying to make a speech after falling off the balcony.
Gin 'o' clock. Thanks for the humour!
Good point, free cash flow would be more accurate. I'm just interested in what is driving the volatility today. It's certainly not you haha!
Yes you may CCC, to be fair and taking an overview of events to date MENA is not the easiest location to operate but PG has had plenty of experience with the truly wonderful Fastnet and Island Oil.
Oct 5th RNS, not an English grad or even A-level, far too boring but I could interpret this para in more than one way.
"Rigless testing MOU-3 using conventional perforating guns is currently forecast to begin on or before 16 October 2023, assuming that the wireline logging unit is released from its present contract on or before 10 October 2023. The Company will provide an update if there is any change to this date".
Still, it was ever thus with RNS's from many outfits.
