Casapinos, thanks for your reply mate, yes I can understand why Drahi is banned being a shareholder, but with Ambani not being a BT shareholder, I wouldn't have thought that his comments would result in a six month ban.

Agreed Notmyjob, we already know that ITV are expected to report record advertising figures for this financial year, I also fully expect Q1 of 2022 to be a very strong quarter. I'm surprised that the share price doesn't currently reflect this. Patience needed.

Bladerunner, are you being serious? Do you think that large institutions & Deutsche Telekom would entertain a bid of 150p per share? They will laugh them out of the building. Remember BT aren't a distressed company.

BT maybe out of favour at the moment, but by year end of 2026 when BT have completed FTTP, BT will be a different beast throwing off great profits/dividends. Thanks for your concern Bladerunner, but I'm sure most on this thread have a far better understanding of BT than yourself. If BT aren't taken over I have no plans to sell my BT holding, I will still be here on this thread in 2026. So pop back in 2026 and I'm sure we can carry this conversation on further with a share price at least £3 per share.

Tom has said almost word for word previously, so forgive me for thinking that the words came out of his mouth. He's always trying to imply that I'm old when in fact I'm probably about his age. I'm not sure what he has against old folk? I was brought up to always respect my elders, something that he clearly wasn't. He won't always be young/middle aged.

I'm looking forward to the day that I will remind the naysayers of what they keep saying on repeat. He who laughs last, laughs the longest. I have time on my side. I don't need my cash that's tied up in ITV, yes I'm currently sat on a paper loss. But if you never need the cash it makes no difference. ITV will be taken over one day by one of the big streamers. Content is king and ITV have plenty of it. There are no big sellers of the shares, I suspect that someone is hoovering up what liquidity there is. ITV is a very small fish in a very large pond. Time will tell who's right and who's sadly wrong. If or when a bid arrives you won't see a naysayer for dust.
