The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring financial educator and author Jared Dillian has been released. Listen here.
Sabyam, why the sudden interest in S4 Capital with a negative comment? A quick look at your post history revels that you only post on one company RKH. If you have any evidence of share price manipulation based on the share price spiking a few pence after dropping 90% then please share? Otherwise its just your opinion. My guess is that you wanted the S4 share price to drop further before you bought in. Share prices do move up too you know.
If ADVFN data is correct there was only 90,666 shares purchased today with 259,102 shares sold. UT 106,519. 9 shares unknown.
It doesn't look like S4 have been buying many shares today. I was hoping that the large percentage share price drops of almost 5% were behind us, sadly not.
If S4 Capital started as a peanut, as Sorrell put it, Knaap says: "We’ve probably already grown to a coconut. I don’t know what’s bigger than a coconut but we will find out."

The shares issued to pay for past M&A was based on a share price of at least 425p each if I'm not mistaken. So for S4 to buyback at current weak share prices can only be a good thing, with expected further share buybacks this coming financial year bodes well IMO. It would also be good to see directors buying, this would help restore some much needed confidence, it would certainly convince me to top up my holding.
Franklin Resources is now S4 Capitals largest shareholder, holding a total of 76,976,400 shares. They have added 26 million shares since 5th Jan. I wonder if they are acquiring shares on behalf of a potential predator.
