With respect, I think we need Leo on this board to provide a reasoned counter balance to the over-optimistic hopes and forecasts of LTH (myself included). The major shareholders a ruthless businessmen who wouldn't give a tinker's cuss for we small PIs - that's how they made their billions.
But predictable - look at AAZ
Ay, there's the rub.
Still we seem to be holding up well in the face of a wholesale market sell off
I'v no intention of shuffling off this immortal coil, yet awhile, Roy
Can't believe people are selling, this is a golden buying opportunity. You're getting a 10% discount for a corona-panic
It was interesting to note that the two 1m sells + one 1m buy yesterday all happened just inside an hour before the RNS release - insider?
That 1m must be a sell, we're now down 8% and falling.
Hope that's Goliath I can see on the horizon ;0)
WTF, looks kinda stormy to me ;o(
Why is buying so easy? I've got an horrible feeling that the Q4 results are not going to be as good as everyone here seems to expect. Hope I'm wrong.
PS You can now mark me up for 8.9m, Roy
8m here
MRLOLOL It is very noticeable that DB, unlike other CEOs of small stocks, does not give proactive-type interviews ramping up his company's prospects. He believes in actions speaking stronger than words. Long may he reign.
Heyup retired, thanks for that, nice to have a friendly response.
Was first here in 2015, but sold out at 6p for a small loss = small holding, a year later.
Returned at the beginning of last year and MTL at a 0.97 avg is now by far my biggest holding.
As you say, may a stiff westerly breeze see us scudding along.
Aw t'best
NN
PS Glad to see you haven't got HMS Hood in your shipping list ;0(
I also made a valid observation which you chose to ignore. I do not belong to "you lot" as you say and unlike you I do not spend my precious time posting every minute on this bb - end of.
Keep your hair on (if you have any).
I find that final 12.5k buy of yesterday rather curious given that it is probably the regular 1m or 1.5m buyer. Does the odd number of shares bought indicate that he/she/it has finally exhausted the seller's (Ruffer?) shares on offer?
Very disappointing increase in AISC, more than $100/oz over the 9-month average.
Just tried to buy 4k @ 1.25, order was rejected as the asking price in now 1.4 - looking good for tomorrow, but we've been disappointed before so no 2p forecasts, please
The Tanz gov is extracting the urine, surely. The last VAT refund (of $3.4m) was 2 years ago, which left us still being owned $16.2m. Now with this paltry $1.4m refund we are still owed $26.6m. At this rate I estimate the next refund will be in November 2021 when we will be owed $36.6m.
Profit taking + technical analysis & chartists suggest pog could retrace to its June breakout of $1385 in the next month or two before it reaches its support level, which means SHG could fall back to the mid-6ps before it recovers in November/December
Interesting that HL have the sp ending +11.54% with the last sell going through at 16.16 at 0.70.
