Just because a trade list shows more blue buys than red sells doesn’t mean there are actually more buyers than sellers. Every trade always has both a buyer and a seller or the trade couldn’t happen. The colours are simply the system’s best guess at who was more aggressive in the deal. If someone buys shares at the higher asking price it gets marked as a buy, while someone selling into the lower bid price gets marked as a sell. So lots of blue trades usually means buyers are chasing shares and paying up, while lots of red suggests sellers are more eager to offload. On small AIM stocks especially, these labels can be misleading due to spreads, market makers, delayed reporting and matched trades
