Looks like the takeover of Plant Impact happened before/as he was appointed. Doesn't appear to stray too far from Croda, so why this time? It seems a watch this space on this one.

I am not sure if the first paragraph is aimed at me, but if it is I accept all you say.
I would just like to put you right on one thing. Elric is convinced I am someone else. I did try to convince him otherwise but got filtered. I could say a lot more but it tends to fall on deaf ears.
'However, I do want to update you all over the weekend'
This is a problem I have. I do not subscribe to either share prophets or whatever Elric's site is called. I would appreciate it if updates are posted here or this site is ignored by the the 'behind closed doors ' sites. Please discuss the content elsewhere . Just my opinion.
I do get the impression Elric is not in a good way. I believe he has me filtered. Please somebody pass on my best wishes.
I have left this post as I am not sure of the rules of aim, but what has gone on does not seem right to me. Nobody has said anything so here goes. I have not watched the interview and many here have , I assume , had to try to make sense of all the discussion. It does seem some discussion has spilled out from the Advfn restricted guild.
We have a book build / raise going on. Shareholders have the right to apply for shares from Friday morning to Monday afternoon 20/11.
Can somebody tell me if it is ok to have a paid for interview of a CEO right in the middle of a bookbuild for a retail offer?
I am a little disappointed that the cloud of the funding of at least the initial acquisition has not been dispersed, and we are still raising to continue the path to profitability.
At the last raise in December 22, a prominent member here said in his opinion the deal was done, how wrong he was, yet here we are still in the position of speculating. Perhaps a little in hindsight I would prefer if going forward Mr Ashman would only talk about acquisitions via RNS, not interviews. If he had there would not have been any of the speculation and by admission of one party at least, selling in anticipation of raise.
The retail amount of .25 million seems very small to me. Just an afterthought? If as I suspect the price will drop to about 19p it's probably not worth it anyway
The guy highlighted by mol (Chris Stebbings) seems to be showing the way forward with the acquisition/s
Yes oleric. You were the obvious target of the cruise comment, surprised anyone thought otherwise. Have already been through Pentland Firth( I think) on the way to Iceland via Kirkwall, so not a downer. Akureyri whale watching is wonderful , almost guaranteed humpbacks and although rarely a Blue.
Have not watched interview yet, I prefer an RNS. but imo you will be right to take a 'gamble'. Dyor and all that.
I think I am the other side of the conversation mentioned in Elricos post. For the record the last time I sold SBTX was 24/5/21 at 74.6p a share. As I said in my post I am happy with SBTX.
Thanks Toyin
Thought the interview was Friday but ok Sunday now. No matter. So all the juicy bits have already been said? I am not after free but I only rely on rns's now, but a few not behind a paywall would be nice.
Nick
I do not believe you should expect anyone to pay Elric/small company champion/ lemming investors for what is basically a CEO giving an interview.
I am an investor in sbtx and opti and happy with sbtx less so opti and was never influenced by any Elric website, and for my own reasons would never subscribe.
I have asked Stuart Ashman and Stephen O Hara in the past to stop relying on TW and SCC, but obviously falling on deaf ears.
Although I do not believe small company champion has a lot of subscribers, the Friday evening interview seemed to have an impact on the share price Monday morning. Your comment on oleric paying ' if he wants the really juicy bits' seems to me it's worthy of an RNS. It was apparently only an interview after all.
Unusually there was a lot of activity on the restricted guild on ADVFN last weekend also.
Just my observations

I ain't complaining about £35 at all. That's what you all seem to fall back on, which is pretty pathetic in my view. My problem is SOH talking to TW or small company champion/lemming investors or whatever they are called nowadays, and not addressing the shareholder base in the open.
Also I don't have the faith in Elrico you obviously do. That's your choice, you pay your £35, I choose not to.
Whenever a behind closed doors podcast happens there is a temporary spike in the share price. Does that need an RNS? if it was generally announced would the spike be more? It does normally fall back though, I have to admit
If 35 of us felt the need to talk to SOH for an hour and not pass it on where would that get us,?
am not a subscriber to either the tw,or elrico websites, but i was under the impression elrico had sold up and was not a shareholder in opti any more. we will never know, not on open websites at least. we get half ****d communication on this bb asking for questions to put to soh , then get the message starting this thread which says **** all, and will lead to a paid for article sometime.
.
i do have a problem with consumer paid for analyst/shareholder interviews ( and i have told soh). also i do have a problem with them interfering here. one or the other in my opinion. the **** above has not been censored.,:)
